This is a well made ceramic disc chime made with beautiful high quality, durable, glazed stoneware clay pieces by Woodstock Chimes. I have never had a ceramic disc chime before and didn't know what to expect but I'm so glad I got it. It is a nice addition to my outdoor decor. It arrived securely in its box with bubble wrap around each of the ceramic discs. Amazon again sent a breakable item in a paper envelope with no padding so I'm so grateful that Woodstock Chimes wrapped it so securely to protect it. The colors used in this ceramic disc chime blend beautifully together, and have a subtle, natural and soft coloring to them. They look great outside hanging from our willow tree by the sturdy jute rope that works perfectly with the design of this chime. The sound that these give is not your "traditional wind chime" sound that you hear with metal chimes, it is what you could imagine with ceramic stoneware pieces gently hitting each other in the breeze. If you go to Woodstock Chimes' website and look up Ceramic Disc Chime you can find this chime and listen to their sound before purchasing to get a feel for what it could be like for you. For me, I'm enjoying this as a decorative piece that reminds me of stacked cairn stones and like cairn stones, to me, this ceramic disc chime represents peace, and grounding in my yard. I'm really glad I got this to try a new style of wind chime I didn't know about and I'm loving them.

It's pretty. The colors are great. It's very heavy. The sound is nice and I hope it's durable. The sturdiness is good so far. The melody is fine and has some enjoyment. I'm not sure if I would buy it again

These chimes look and feel to be high quality. They are quite heavy. To be honest, I can be sensitive to sound and background noise and I ordered these for their looks alone. I like the color of them and thought they would look nice hanging inside my home. But, in hearing them, they actually sound quite lovely. These chimes will look nice hanging on a wall or from the ceiling in a corner. They would also be great hanging under a covered patio. I think they would make an excellent housewarming gift. I’m very pleased with these chimes for their looks, quality, and the pleasant sound they make.

These chimes are heavy and very pretty. They make a ceramic sound as the chimes, and the rainbow shells are quite pretty. They are on a solid rope that looks sturdy. This is a unique windchime and would make a nice gift for someone. Its unlikely that they have one of these.
