I'm always skeptical buying fabric from a manufacturer that is unknown to me, especially if I can't see it before I buy it. I must say that I am very pleased. It was cut with care and is very substantial. It's not stiff nor thin, and washed up very well. It came out of the dryer in great condition with only a little pressing needed, mainly because I want it pressed very flat before cutting for my project. Even the large buffalo checks are so straight that I will be able to easily cut the strips straight. I plan to cut it into strips to fold and attach to the bottoms of white cotton dish towels that I intend to embroider for family and friends. If I think about it and am able to do it, I may come back and add a photo to this review. This piece is so nice, that I now want to see if I can order some in different colors.

They presented this fabric as good for tablecloths and curtains which need continuous yardage not one yard cuts. Here is what Rufus stated when I asked if it would be sent in one yard cuts. No, the JOSNAAN Checkered Gingham Fabric comes as a continuous, single piece. If you order 4 yards, you'll receive one continuous 4-yard length (144" long x 57" wide), not four separate 1-yard pieces. If you need individual cut pieces, you'd need to cut the fabric yourself or contact the seller before ordering to ask about custom cutting options. They sent 4 one yard pieces which will not work for a table cloth or curtains
