Dexcom G7 Over Patches, 30 Pcs Waterproof CGM Sensor Patch

Glad to have bought these for my Lingo CGM, however the fit is sometimes uncomfortable. The outside cover is soft, thick enough, and flexible, which is great. Though, I wish I got the adhesive covers that have the middle already cut out. When taking off the adhesive covers, it got stuck to the CGM and nearly ripped it out, so I’ve been cutting the middle out with scissors to ensure that does not happen again. The value for money is great! You get 30 covers for $10; I’d almost say it’s a steal of a deal. But beware of the adhesive. It’s very sticky (which is good), but it’s also very difficult to get off, especially if it’s on the CGM. I do want to mention, it was bad on my part, because I accidentally got part of the adhesive on the CGM, which caused the issue. Important to note that the middle of the adhesive cover DOES NOT have glue. So, just be mindful of placement.

They hold up really well for every day activities. But I did notice when I was outside doing yardwork and sweating. It didn’t stick very well after.

I've just finished wearing one of these patches for 10 days, and this one has lasted much better than any other ones I have used in the past. In ten days no peel up, no fraying, and it looks almost as well as the day I put it one. The patch has the glueless center in case you need to replace a patch, that minimizes the likelihood of removing the patch and pulling up the sensor prematurely. It's easy to use, the backing pulls off with no issues and laid on my arm flat with no wrinkles. The prints are colorful and happy, and I find them all very attractive in the assortment I chose. They are a good value and do exactly what you need them to do for a good price.

I’ve worn these patches throughout my last hormonal cycle (28 days), and it severely disrupted my cycle. The patch adhesive must contain some mixture of terrible chemicals, and they must be endocrine disruptors (maybe even laced with heavy metals). First patch delayed my ovulation by 7 full days. Next patch has delayed my menstrual cycle for over 10 days now. I am not sexually active, anorexic, or typically stressed, and I always have a regular hormonal cycle. The only thing that changed was the application of these cheap patches. I’ve noticed while wearing them, I experienced increased irritability and mood swings, fatigue, and difficulty concentrating. After a 10 day delay in getting my period, I figured perhaps they contain lead or cadmium (given the fatigue and violent mood swings). If not, perhaps the patch adhesive is loaded with phthalates—which are used in adhesive tapes, labels, and sticky backs. Phthalates block progesterone and other key hormone signals in the ovaries, which can stop an egg from releasing (ovulation) and make your menstrual cycle irregular. Do not buy this product—it also left some pretty nasty marks on my skin.

The concept of these is good, but it is very difficult to peel the backing off them, once you get it initially placed. The middle backing is easy to remove, but those little end pieces are brutal. They cling to it like it's superglued on there or something. and this can make for a pretty uncomfortable situation as you are tugging at it to get the backing off, it also tugs on the sensor underneath which can be a bit uncomfortable when the sensor is newly placed and sensitive.

Just as described very nice sticks very well even after shower no feeling like some other brands, very recommended

Sadly, these are not holding up for the entire 15 days (barely even a week to be honest). I got these out of precaution when I started with the G7 and with using 3 so far, I have not been able to last more than a week without the adhesive patch coming off. I do not sweat excessively, I’m not overexposing my sites to water, but these are not sticking (even with a clean site prior to application). :(
