Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Novels and Stories Volume II

Well its Sherlock Holmes.... Is anything else necessary? Leaving it aside, the book is a very high quality print and it feels really good in your hands. The look and the typeset including the cover page lends it a very classic yet elegant look not like the cheap renditions of the character on the cover page in some other books. The size is just perfect to slip it into a bag and for your hands. Its light too. Although the print is a bit small, still its quality is unmatched.

Delivered on the next day. Absolutely top class. I finished it in 3-4 weeks. Brilliant stories, keep you engrossed and enthralled throughout. Worth money. Loved this one. Brilliant bargain.

Loved it! Volume 2 consists of 2 novels and 'His last bow' and 'the Case book of Sherlock Holmes'. Thrilling and mind-blowing. Sherlock Holmes represents stories of criminal investigations with amazing and non-guessable twists

A bit heavy and small but good at this price

Both of volumes (1 and 2) are amazing. They gave me a lot of fun when I read them in my childhood!

I have already volume 1 of Sherlock holmes with me.the volume2 was ordered to complete the set.these two books are prized possession in my library.Good material for reading and great value for your money.

I've run the course now and followed along through every adventure spanning Sherlock's 27 year career and find myself feeling as so many of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's readers felt in his time...I don't want to say goodbye. I had never read Sherlock Holmes and have never been a big fan of short stories, having found most boring, uninteresting and unimaginative. The latter I'm sorely lacking in myself, perhaps all three,, so I pick up on this easily when reading someone else's work. Mr. Doyle was none of those things and has the ability to grasp the attention early on and only make you greedy for more. I don't know where he got all his ideas but imagination was not his weakness and one of my favorites from the casebook files must always be "The "Lion's Mane. Who would have thought the culprit to be the world's largest jellyfish?? And a story that brought back childhood memories on St. Augustine beach encountering my first jellyfish, though obviously not the fatal results! If you're someone who enjoys short stories of the titillating type with only brief intervals in which to read, this book along with volume 1, comes highly recommended. One doesn't notice the hundreds of pages comprising these volumes, only a sadness at them coming to an end from a life well lived in it's bringing so much enjoyment to others. It is not hard to see why so many have said they will read these stories again for the sheer pleasure it brings to revisit a long lost friend. Many thanks as well to all those hard working souls at Wikipedia and Bing translation for making my reading experience always one of learning as well as enjoyment. Odd though it may be to many, these are my most favored and most used features on my Fire which I also must give a 5 star review for such a seamless experience all around thus far. should you happen to be someone who uses Wikipedia, please consider making a donation to them.
