It's just what I needed to get my husband, the dishwasher to stop running the water the whole time he's washing dishes, I solved my dilemma, I've got him filling the sink with some hot soapy water and then he puts the soapy dishes in the other sink and rinses them all at once. It's brilliant!!! I don't know why I didn't think of it before! But I'm guessing it's because I've always had a dishwasher and in this home we don't so when we were moving in and i realized iWe didn't have one I nearly freaked out! Then hubby to appease me said to me, "No worries I'll always so the dishes. You'll never have to do them!" Now don't be fooled I still do a lot of dishes but after I cook him a delicious meall and I am a very good cook so he's fed well all the time lol. Those are the times I let him clean up everything and he is happy to do it I still Slo wiping counter tops and tables and chairs and sometimes he kicks me out of the kitchen and finishes it all by himself. He doesn't mind he says because he loves that I spoil him with those yummy meals. Thank goodness or I might be doing a whole lot more dishes around here and hating it. Lol. I knew I had to get a sink stopper like this because you CANNOT pull them out once water is on top of them in the sink. You know those kind of stoppers the kind most people have Ihier kitchen but they never use them because once you fit them in the drain and fill the si k with water the weight of the water you can't get the dang thing out again. You have to Hercules like my burley husband But even he had some problems getting out so he muscled it out of there and came out in pieces lol. I knew right then and there I had to come up with better way to fill the si k. With water and be able to gently lift out the stopper without hurting myself or breaking the stopper and Viola! I remembered the stoppers grandmm and mom used I heir homes. This works and it works very well and I am a happy wife because I'm saving money on heated water and lots of it too.

Not enough rubber to flex to the bottom of a bathroom vanity sink. I don't think it had any rubber. I cleaned out under the sinks and found the old one that was made with more rubber. It works much better.

I'm not able to get out to shop. For those of you that can go to the dollar tree or equivalent and get this for a dollar, that would make me feel better.Not worth the price unless you're me.Side note it works but so would a piece of clear wrap.

It is a great stopper and quick to use. Use it daily for the kitchen sink and it never disappoints me.

I really needed this stopper. But unfortunately it didn't work. I tested it in a sink full of water and watched it slowly leak water down the drain. I followed instructions on back of the package, I tried a couple of other ways to try and get it to suction to the sink. Nothing worked. In my opinion, the stopper isn't flexible or rubbery enough. It's too stiff. So, I've got to get another. Hoped this helps others.

Used for sink and bathtub. Plumbing in my bldg. not the greatest. Had problems keeping water in sink and tub was leaking down....Then I decided to search online to see what would help and I found this item....It works and I did not have to tip the handyman.

Doesn't stop the water from draining out of the sink for very long
