We bought this prior to our trip to Europe in our motorhome as it is difficult to read the kilometres per hour bit of our speedometer. I cannot tell you how invaluable it has been! We just used Blu-Tac to secure it to the dashboard where it could be seen easily, plugged in to the cigarette lighter and bingo...we could not only keep an eye on our speed! Fantastic! It does have an attachment to secure it to the dashboard, but this worked better for us as our motorhome dashboard is covered in carpeting!

Bought this because I have a basic hatchback that doesn't have an adjustable steering will and so I have to duck my had to read some speeds on my speedometer. having this means I don't have to do this.It has a very clear and crisp display that is easy to read. being very light it sits still on my non-slip dash mat even without the self adhesive pads supplied with it. It does need calibration and I ended up setting it to 110% to match my speedo. Luckily I had a long stretch of clear road near me on which to do this,Lag is the main problem with this device and comes in 2 forms:1 it can take several minutes for it to detect the satellite signals and so if setting of in a hurry it will read zero until a signal is found. To help with this you can have one of the displays set to the number of satellites visible. This gives you a heads up(pun intended) as to why you aren't getting a reading or it seams wildly out.2 when accelerating or braking there is a slight but noticeable delay before the change in speed is registered. This could lead to harsher breaking or going too fast when accelerating. Fortunately the lower speeds aren't obscured by my steering wheel and so I use my speedo for driving around town.Overall a handy little device but I wouldn't advice relying on it to avoid getting a speeding ticket,

The product description said it projected your speed, direction etc onto the windscreen. What i got looked similar to a cheap little digital thing that looked like a bedside alarm clock that didn't project anything anywhere. You're supposed to stick it on your dash or in the windscreen, and it wouldn't even stick!!! Waste of money!!!

I use this as an accurate secondary speedo on my classic car, mainly for use on the continent when I need to check speed in km/hrPlus points:Clear display and easy to use in all conditionsNegative points:As delivered the calibration is adjusted to over read to match most car speedometers. Adjusting the calibration factor to 100% corrected this as confirmed by other GPS devices which resolved the problem. Unfortunately this is not clear from the instructions.

Great, does exactly what I want, easy to see, no excuse for speeding! Only possible problem might be it’s large connection at the back might stop you mounting it exactly where you require but suits my car perfectly.

The HUD I bought was a good investment . Definitely help with driving and not having look down all the time . Would definitely recommend
