sturdy, had a decent edge out of the box
Item is well built, sturdy, had a decent edge out of the box. Shipping fullfilled all expectations. The knife in the sheath jiggles a bit but so far retention is holding the kife ok. One of the best and decent size karambit knife for the price in the whole site.

I have smallish hands for a guy and this feels like it was crafted just for me
Razor. F'ing. Sharp. Right out of the box this thing impressed me. I have smallish hands for a guy and this feels like it was crafted just for me. The knife comes out of the sheath easily and stays in. Can't recommend this enough

It is a great knife for its price
It is a great knife for its price. The only down part was it was not very sharp. I had to sharpen it my self.

Nice starter Karambit for the money
I just got this for my first Karambit, except mine is the MT664SL, which is the same but in brushed stainless. The knife is single edged and came pretty sharp out of the box. It is balanced right at the middle hole (small hole 5th from either direction) and flips really well. I was flipping it within an hour with either hand, but then I've had a butterfly knife for a long time. If flipped correctly, you will not cut yourself with it, but I'd recommend putting a piece of duct or blue painters tape on the edge and point if you have never flipped a knife. The knife is made of a solid piece of stainless steel and is right at 1/8 inch thick, with a cutting edge of 3 inches and overall 7 inches. As a practice knife, I think it is a good buy. It is a lot of fun, anyway. Remember, this is a $12 SS knife! Please do not try and compare it to a $100+ knife and you won't be disappointed. I put it on the crock stick this morning and got it almost shaving sharp in about a minute. The steel is probably either 420 or low 440, but held an edge well cutting up a cardboard box. The sheath is some kind of hard plastic and fits the knife very tightly, at least on the one I got. It is set up perfect for otw left hand draw with the blade down and tip pointed away from you. This is the ice pick type grip or traditional modern Karambit grip. I think if I was going to edc this knife, I'd make a leather sheath for iwb carry. The sheath does fit very flat on your side, though. Overall, I would say that this is a nice starter if you want to get into Karambits or just want something cheap for a utility/edc blade or as a last ditch defense knife. Worth the $12 and I wouldn't cry if I lost it or used it and it ended up in impound. But if you are looking for a high quality steel, look elsewhere.
