Compact and lightweight, TruPulse rangefinders/hypsometers allow you to view through the lens so that you can pinpoint the laser directly along your line of sight. And because measurements are displayed through the viewfinder, you never have to take your eyes off the target. The TruPulse can measure distances up to 3,280' (1,000m) without a reflective target. Results are displayed in feet, yards, or meters. An integrated tilt sensor allows you to measure horizontal or vertical distance and calculate an object's height instantly by using the built-in three-shot routine. The "Closest" operating mode distinguishes near and far objects and identifies the closest target, and the "Farthest" mode allows you to lock on the furthest target and shoot distant features through brush and foliage. "Continuous" mode provides constant updates while locking on multiple targets. The TruPulse also features a "Brush Filter" mode. The TruPulse diopter is adjustable for comfortable viewing - even for eyeglass wearers. Features an RS 232 serial port to download data. In addition, the TruPulse 360?R includes a built-in digital compass sensor which allows you to shoot from any angle. TruVector technology provides the best possible compass accuracy regardless of the laser's orientation. Buyer Beware, Research this product
After studying the website at LTI on the units they have and the features available, I chose this model. The idea that it was Bluetooth compatible, ruggedized, and data was downloadable were the primary reasons for purchase. After receiving the unit and trying to set it up, there were several issue which made me return it. The data is not directly downloadable to a computer or an Apple device. You have to use a data logger along with relevant software, while taking measurements. Of course LTI will be happy to sell you the additional logger and software. There was a pamphlet included in the packaging advising downloading their LaserSoft Measure App for Smartphone. It even stated the app was compatible with higher end TruePulse units. $9.00 on Apple App Store. However, this app is only compatible with the 200X on IoS. Only after studying the webpage and verifying with customer service was this apparent. For someone who already has a data logger and software, this may be what you are looking for. But the additional cost of those items (well over $600) on top of the $1795 price tag, as well as any mention of compatible products without specification(data logger and software) written in small print, have me returning this product and looking elsewhere.

Excellent Laser Range Finder!
The TruPulse 360R has truly been an impressive tool. It has more capabilities than the TruPulse 200 models and the rugged design is very convenient for outdoor use. Definitely worth the extra investment for the added protection and capability. Kudos to Laser Technology for making another great product!
