Presta Valve Caps - Anodized Aluminum - Use On Presta/French Valves - Designs: Bullet, Rocket, Hamburger, Pocket Rocket (4 Pack)

Bought these as a part of a 26" MTB rehab project. They look great. That's about the only good thing I can say. I don't know if it's the manufacturing tolerances, the anodizing, or what, but these thread onto the valve core portion of a Presta valve and then promptly stick there. So when you go to check your pressure or add air or whatever, you get to unscrew your valve core and watch your tire promptly deflate completely. Then you get to take a pair of pliers and try to separate your valve core from this cap. And then install it and refill your tire. Basically this is a complete waste of money unless you're looking for a way to efficiently remove Presta valve cores, in which case it works great and you should be very happy with your new tool.

I tried two caps with same result. Returned and installed simple plastic caps.

I like that they are aluminum. When fully threaded on they stop and get tight. They don't just skip a thread and start rotating again as is common with the normal plastic caps. Style choice is an opinion, but I'd recommend the bullet or hamburger styles. I bought the rocket style. They are gigantic. I forgot to snap a pic to go with the review, but I'd say they are 2.5 times the length of the standard black plastic cap and 3 times the outer diameter. It's like sticking a pen cap on the valve stem, except they don't thread down more than the normal 1/4" that you get with the black plastic caps. The other two styles are going to have the same massive outer diameter, but at least they're shorter in length.

They look great and fit great. They don't provide speed wobbles like that one guy had or pull out my valve stem. They do exactly what they are supposed to. I put them on my Specialized allez and Diamondback Haanjo metro.

All 4 of these Presta Valve Caps threaded perfectly on my tire valves. The RED anodize color looks great on my StumpJumper wheels. Same exact size replacement as the original cheap black plastic caps.Good quality, good service and great price. Buy 'em.

These things are the quintessential answer to what SHOULD come on an expensive or any bike for that matter.The crummy little “caps” that my bike came with were garbageOnce these arrived I did a quick bike cleansing, tire inflation, and put these on right away.From what I can tell they are either metal or very hard & tactile material. (Which is amazing)Im very glad I grabbed two packets, just in case!These Presta valve covers are what every bike needs!Product is A1! 🏆

I like these. Got the pocket rocket in black, which is very small and light, about the same size as a plastic cap. Unfortunately only 3 of the 4 thread on fully - one has a bad thread. If I’d gotten 4 good parts these would be 5 stars, but I’m disappointed that the 4 pack didn’t get me enough caps for 2 bikes... if I can’t repair the thread on the own I’ll have to try to get a replacement.

What can I say? These work well as advertised.I got them after the cheap plastic caps that came with my bike broke.These are holding up well, I like the bright color, makes them easy to locate and I gave the second pair to a friend.Worth the money!

I purchased these caps as the back cap for my back wheel went missing - likely at the bike shop where it was serviced. At least these should be easier to spot once taken off to fill the tire up with air.

Was missing two presto caps....(the wee black plastic ones );. Ran across these, they are seemingly well machined...aluminum.......the kind makes the rider chuckle when you screw them on the stem! Made me think my Trek 2 road bike was getting dressed up again.

Well made and looks great on the bike. Definitely better than the stock plastic caps. Made the right choice buying it.

These just work. Compared to plastic caps, this is so much better! I am happy I chose the red ones as they are easy to find in the grass should you inadvertedly drop one while inflating a tire.

Got these hoping they’d be near the size and weight of the typical plastic caps. Not even close. 3x the size and 5x the mass. This is dress up kit, may as well sell it a pep boys.
