R-1328SP A/B is a room temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber intended primarily as general purpose, high strength rubber for making molds and highly flexible rubber parts. Physical Properties of the Unvulcanized material: Color: Off-white/green Viscosity @ 25C mixed : 30,000 cps mixed Typical Properties of Cured Rubber: Specific Gravity: 1.11 Hardness: 25 Shore Tensile Strength: 550 psi Elongation at Break : 450 % Tear Resistance: 130 Method of Use: R-1328SP A is processed by adding the curing agent R-1328SP B. The addition of 10% catalyst (by weight) has a pot life of 40 minutes and is ready for de-molding after 15 to 24 hours. R-1328SP B has a trace of pigment for good dispersion. F-100 can be added at 5-10% rate for improved flow and air release. After the mold has been removed from the master, it should be left for 24 hours in order to develop its maximum mechanical strength. Use Thix 5170 and PE-ESS-5F (Mini Fibers) to create brush-on, low sag rubber bladder. The information and data contained herein are based on information we believe reliable. Each user of the material should thoroughly test any application and independently conclude satisfactory performance before commercializing.
