Great product and works well

Very useful idea however the USB section failed just over 12 months - apparently replacement USB section not available from Italian manufacturer -typical Italian mentality as they build these so would have the components in stock to assemble . Also only two 13amp sockets can be used lower socket cannot be used due to design. Find another brand.

Not great. The silver cap scratches easily, the lower socket is impossible to use and the usb switch failed after 18 months of light use.

Although this item is a useful tool in the kitchen, why do the sellers call it a pop up when in fact it is a pull up and push down, there is no spring to assist in bring it in to its working position, like a lot of things in this world, most designers dont work on or with the products they develop

This is perfect for the peninsula in the kitchen. I've used it several times already and the kitchen has only been finished a couple of weeks. However, because the unit needs to drop down into the cabinet below, it doesn't allow any room to put a shelf in the cabinet so you lose shelf storage space. For me though, it does mean that I have a permanent, accessible place for my breadmaker as that is too tall to put in any of the other cabinets with a shelf above it and I didn't want it standing out on the worktop. works really well - now used for 2 years and not a single issue. Good quality product. Sits neatly on worktop when collapsed

Can I lend my voice to the reviews that mention that lack of reliability. We have one of these pop up sockets installed in the middle of our kitchen island. It lasted just over one year and then the usb sockets packed in. We are out of warranty. I contacted the manufacturer directly to see if I could buy a replacement usb module and repair it without having to dismantle a cupboard to get to the sensiopod. This was not possible and the manufacturer were very keen to tell me that I should have been totting up the milliamps of power my phones and tablets consume to avoid overloading and burning out the usb sockets.It is important for anybody thinking of buying one of these to note that they are not suitable for charging tablet devices.

The product has given us the extra sockets we needed. Quartz worktop fitters were useless so ended up buying the necessary tool and doing the job myself
