I have purchased other brands in the past. I am very happy with this one. It arrived on a day I was having back spasms. I opened the box, and was so pleased with the quality of the cover. It is asoft suede/velvety feel with vented fabric in the center.The memory foam is exactly right balance of firmness and molding. I immediately sat with it in my recliner for the next hour. It fits in just the right places. It did relieve some of the spasm and pain with the good alignment. I would recommend this to anyone.Added benefit, the cover can be removed to hand wash. This is lightweight. My previos support had a cheap cover, was too firm to use for long, and no strap to hold in placeI ordered a second one for a dear pregnant friend. She had severeback pain when at my house. I Tod her, I am going to fix that. I sat her with the cushion behind and a large ice pack over it. By the time she left pain gone walking normal. Now she Wil have one of her own .The new one is made with a softer memory foam and a different but just as good cover. I tried both and want to keep the firmer one but both are effective.I traveled to visit a friend. I had back pain everyday. When I came home and used the support every time I sat, there is almost no pain. Obviously I need this and no meds.

This is exactly what I was looking for! I did a lot of searching for top-rated back cushions and finally settled on getting the Everlasting comfort cushion since it had raving reviews and seemed like it would be the perfect size and balance between firm and soft.I got it and tried it on my office chair and it would just get stuck at the bottom of my chair and wouldn't stay in place further up the back of my chair even though the straps were as tight as possible. They issued me a full refund but I knew I needed to try something different.Even though this SimplePosture cushion doesn't have as many reviews, it's absolutely perfect!! The straps on this can tighten enough to where you can move it up and down on the back of your chair and it will stay in place. Perfect thickness for me since I'm 5'4" and the back of my office chair leans back and I can't adjust it and the seat of my office chair is long enough that with the thickness of this cushion I don't feel like I'm sliding off my chair. I also love the balance of how firm yet soft this cushion is. Keeps me supported and sitting straight and comfortable all day long. I also love how the sides of this cushion curve inwards so when I lean back into my chair it feels like it's hugging me and just conforms to my body.The only thing I don't love about this cushion is the chemical/paint-like smell about it - I'm hoping it fades. But other than that, it's exactly what I've been looking for and I love it!!

So far I like it. I'm an I/T consultant and I spend lots of hours sitting and looking at computer monitors. Unfortunately my posture when doing that was pretty poor as I was leaning forward hunched over my laptop a lot of the time. Of course that eventually meant lower back problems, which I'm having trouble getting rid of. This cushion helps a lot in that I can sit in an office chair, or even a patio furniture chair (I'm writing this while sitting in a patio chair on my lanai), and have some good support for my lower back. The strap fits over the chair well and has a wide adjustment latitude, so it should fit over most any chair as long as the arms don't get in the way. I've found the cushion to be very comfortable and my back doesn't hurt after sitting there for a while, even though I have a ways to go before it gets better. The cushion is wide enough that the edges don't stick into your ribs, but small enough that it fits easily over chairs. The bottom part is nicely tapered so that you can place the cushion to cover the entire lumbar curve of your back. I haven't tried it in the car yet, but I have a 18 hour car trip back north in a couple of weeks which I've been dreading, and one of the reasons I bought this cushion was to make that trip more comfortable. Will report back on how this worked for that purpose in a few weeks.update 3/10/2016 I tried this in the car and it didn't work well. It's just too thick to work with the seat, at least in my car. Part of it is because most car seats are already shaped a little like this cushion where the outside edges of the seat are tapered in the same way that the side of the cushion that goes against your back is. Problem is though that the back side of the cushion is flat and therefore doesn't conform to the shape of the car seat, which causes it to stick forward too much while leaving an empty space in the center of the cushion between it and the car seat.I'll still leave the rating at 4 stars as it does work very well on a chair.

Lol my heading says it all 😁, however to expand a little I tend to suffer from lower back pain from over exerting myself when I was younger. I was lifting some furniture and something popped in my back that shouldn't have. Generally I'm ok but sometimes when the pain comes I'm laid up in bed for days recovering. One day someone recommend a lower back support cushion as they suggestsd maybe the chair in my office and couch at home maybe part of the reason the pain comes and goes. While I have only had this cushion a few weeks I can already tell that this was a god send. Sitting at home or in the office my back feels so comfortable and relaxed now and when I'm moving around my back just feels good. I didn't realize how much strain the normal flat surfaces of the chairs where putting on my back. Just today my brother and his girlfriend visited me at home, she is about 6 months pregnant and complains of back pains while sitting and moving around. I lent her my cushion to use and she absolutely loved the feel of it. She said her back felt great sitting on it, so my bro plans to get her one. If you suffer with lower back pains I whole heartedly recommend this. The customer support from the company is pretty good to, their very friendly and you can tell they really care about their customers and their experience with the cushion. The only thing I would suggest to them is if they had a version of this product with a back massager or vibrating function well that would be heaven 😁😁😁.
