I had experience with earphones with previous gen of active noise cancelling (ANC). I was hoping the 8th gen noise cancelling would improve but a little disappointed that it still carries the same background noise ANC itself produces. That really tarnishes the sound quality of the otherwise good sound of this earphone.On top of that, it doesn't seem effective in cancelling any external noise. The hum of my microwave running only got masked slightly.The sound quality is good and balanced with adequate clarity, probably better than many twice the price but definitely not audiophile class. For use with exercise, it's more than serving the purpose.The charging case is a bit think for carrying in pocket or in purse.The earphones fit in my ears snuggly. Suspect it would be sufficiently secure not to fall out in a vigorous exercise though. Design that have soft loops or hooks tend to enable the earphones stay more securely, which these don't have.Overall, for the convenience and sound, worth the price. Will see if it last long or not.Update:The right ear piece fell into sink under couple inches of water for a few seconds, came out still working. Good water proofing. On the other hand, getting very easy to fall off, wish they would provide some sort of fin attachment to make it stay in the ear in the first place and not dropped into water so easily. Taking off a star in overall satisfaction.

The different sized ear bud covers were a definite plus. I switched to the smallest & the comfort was perfect. The ear buds worked well for running with no slipping. The sound was fine for my audiobook. Outside noise came through which is good for safety, but meant increased volume by traffic. Easy to pair with the iPhone & controls are easy to master. Tip- take the little sheets of plastic off of the ear bud contacts. There was nothing included in the instructions about this, but I figured it out when the ear bud reported low charge before I even used it.

These earbuds ARE NOT for swimmers. They do not work if your head is in the water. And, after using them for 2 weeks, it is impossible to pair them. Now, it works either left one or right one. But not at the same time. I was trying to factory reset both earbuds, but the user's manual is so confusing: "When charge for the earbuds in the charging case, click the two earbuds by three times until flash red light by one time"..... What does it mean????

So I bought these under the impression that you can use them while swimming. The answer is yes and no... you can where them while your head is above water and they are fine if they get splashed. But you cannot submerge your head at all. Sound cuts out immediately. On further investigation no blue tooth will work under water. I returned them.

I used for one time I try to charge the ear bud it doesn't charge and the case charging it doesn't work

Work well when they did...Lasted maybe 6 months then they diedBattery would last 3-4 hrs (when they did work)

The sound quality is quite awful. Cannot wear for long hours with such a poor audio quality. The hold is decent enough, but not good enough for jogging or running.

I loved these earbuds but after two months the case will not charge which makes the buds useless . Therefore cannot recommend them
