Emerson RG-6 RCA Compression Connectors

These are great but you cannot use the folding type crimper because the center pin won't fit in it. You need to use the adjustable ratcheting kind. These work great although you have to guess if you got the cable up in there all the way but you can measure it on the outside and mark the wire.

I already have a crimper and RG-6 cable, so the thought of getting these connectors was appealing from a length-customization and price standpoint. Shipment was quick (prime), and these connectors look nice in the container (just like the picture).Note this is not my first time crimping connectors. I could not crimp these connectors, even on the largest diameter setting, without the outer sleeve separating and/or cracking. This outer sleeve metal was brittle, and had to be cut away and removed. The inner sleeve (smaller diameter in picture) crimped poorly, but at least held together. If you are going to change the color bands, be very careful since they are thin and fragile.I gave this product two stars since ultimately they still worked and bass sounds good. On the upside the RCA side of the connector fits snug on the jacks, and you end up with a shielded custom-length cable. On the downside the aesthetics are ruined due to the poor crimp, the metal used in construction is poor quality, and assembling these are a hassle. My recommendation is to just spend a few bucks more and buy the pre-made cables.

Worked perfectly. Used at a convention. They were easy to install with the right tool.. (compression). Video was clean and bright.

Good service and delivery. Had issues getting the product to work, mainly because my compression tool would not work with these fittings (they are longer than standard RG3).

Work great. Need proper compression tool to install these.

Not sure if it is these are all RCA compression connections but they dont hold up to any kind of pulling....
