Great for simple blending, easy to clean
I bought this hand mixer as a way to quickly create drinks or shakes without using my blender. It came with a plastic cup so you blend drinks or smoothies right in the cup.The blender is heavier than it looks so it's sturdy, but also bulkier to hold when blending. It comes it two pieces, which just screw together, making it easy to clean.There are two settings: high and low.How does it work? I just jumped in with something probably tough for a hand blender, but I wanted to see what it was capable of.I took frozen bananas and mixed them with almond milk (see video). At first, the blender did nothing to break up the bananas.I had to add a significant amount of almond milk before it started making a dent. Eventually the blender broke the banana up and blended well. Watch out for splatter!I don't think I would use it to make banana ice cream again, but this would be great if you are mixing a smoothie that does not include too many frozen fruits or ice.

i actually bought this to make my own lotions... work amazingly!!! meets my expectations.. I'm sure this would blend food grade products just as good if not better then for my cosmetic purposes

Mix and go
More than I had hoped for. Been wanting to get one of these for quick mixing of small quantity. Very well made. Arrived as promised. Nothing more to say...its a kitchen tool....not a diamond ring.

Lots of power
I use it to mash my red beans in the pot...works great. Lots of power, so be careful not to run it too long or you'll turn a solid into a liquid.

Broken after less than 3 months
We have been using this hand blender for less than 3 months and the low setting does not work.
