Mobee Technology Battery Pack for Magic Bar - Additional Rechargeable Battery Pack for Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and Magic Trackpad (MO3214)

This is an awesome product that needs nothing more than a charge it is working flawlessly. Very easy to install and holds a charge for hours before it is needed to return to the charger. This is my unbiased feedback and this is recommended buy. A+

I tried using rechargeable batteries with my Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse and Apple Bluetooth Keyboard but even with being really good about turning them off after using them or not working. I decided to try this. It works really well. Unfortunately the  Mobee Technology Magic Bar - Inductive Charger for Apple Bluetooth Keyboard and Magic Trackpad (MO3212) doesn't come with an extra bar for the Magic Trackpad. I wasn't interested in moving the Mobee Technology Battery Pack and forth so I purchased this extra battery back.

While it lasted, it worked as described. Like all rechargeables, the capacity always falls with usage. I barely had 50% at the time it fell apart. The battery lasted about 18 months and then the inductive cap pulled off as I was removing it from the trackpad I had it in. The glue failed and the plastic cap came off the inductive end. When it did, it pulled the coil and wires off the coil that charge the battery. It's out of the one year warranty but even if it wasn't, Mobee only takes RMA's if it's purchased through Apple or their own website. Buyer beware. While it does replace single use batteries, I barely got ROI out of the product. If you want the RMA availability, buy through Apple or direct through Mobee's website.

I bought this as an additional bar to use with the Mobee Battery charging unit, which you must have. I use these packs in my Apple Wireless Trackpad and Apple Wireless Keyboard. I don't know exactly how long my batteries lasted, but definitely happy that I just have to insert these into the mother unit via USB port, and I have unlimited free battery-type power.Don't forget -- you need the charging unit to go with these. I bought that through a Groupon deal, and am happy with the entire setup.

I ordered 2, one for each keyboard I have. Neither of them work! Neither will charge the batteries supplied in the kit. Both chargers give the "error light" when the battery is put in place to charge. 2 different chargers, 2 different batteries, same problem with each unit.

I needed to replace the battery in my Keyboard. The Mobee Technology Battery Pack was very reasonably priced. After replacement I charged it overnight. Now, two weeks later it is still going strong. I am very pleased with this replacement battery.

I bought a Mobee Magic Bar back in 2012. Then I bought one of these and used the batteries in my keyboard and trackpad. I've loved them. I bought a third battery so I always have one charged. I just ordered a fourth because the others are getting old.When I was looking to buy the third, I realized, why spend $24 for this when you can just buy another Magic Bar for $9. The Magic Bar comes with a battery. So now I have an extra Magic Bar that I don't use (and will soon have a third.) However, I have a backup if my Magic Bar fails and I get a spare battery for $15 cheaper than buying this one.I knocked a star off because of the price disparity. My batteries are starting to fade after three years of constant (alternating) use, but I've definitely gotten my money's worth. Nowadays, the batteries only last about a week, but they are certainly old and well used.I read somewhere that you can open these up (there's a screw on the side) and replace the batteries with other rechargeable ones. I might try that when one of mine finally die. In the meantime, I've been very happy with my Magic Bar/rotating batteries combination.UPDATE: I looked up what is involved with replacing the batteries. The steps include "gently pry off the case." At $8.99, I think I'll keep buying Magic Bars when I need to replace a battery pack.

I've been using Mobee power packs for a while now. Typically they are great. Easy to use, charge quickly, and hold a charge for a reasonable amount of time.Unfortunately, this is the second one I've had that failed right out of the box. I put it in the charger, it flashes green for a while and then goes red without charge.yge last one I voided any warrantee on the firs one by disassembling it. (It's a side effect of my job... I teach electronics and hand soldering so of course I took it apart.)This one in going to get a replacement.

Apres plusieurs Année a changé de pile j'ai enfin opté pour cette batterie elle fonctionne bien même si comme moi je l'utilise tous les 2-3 mois elle perd pas la charge

I,m giving five stars as dealing with this seller was a pleasure . As for the product . An absolute piece of junk ! Don,t waste your money .I am taking the battery to a recycling unit and rest of it went into the garbage . I really wished it would have worked .Maybe i just got a bad one but i saw reviews where other people had the same problem .

An excellent product giving years of trouble free life. Makes it more surprising that Apple no longer sell it. Found it here and now have back up for originals which are still going strong. I get 10 days without recharge from units.
