Holdpeak 866B*2 Digital Anemometer Handheld LCD Wind Speed Meter for Measuring Wind Speed, Temperature/Wind Chill with Backlight and Max/Min

Works fine as a stand alone anemometer but can be confusing to link to android or iPhone etc.I.e you don't need to pair with the device as in most cases it will say connect fail. You need only to download the App, open the app and switch the anemometer on (you should see a green light (indicating that you have a connection), they press start in the app home page. I tried for ages in my S( settings trying to pair without success but you shouldn't need to as the app does this. Hope this helps anyone trying to connect via blue tooth.. Stand is not very robust but is functional. Its a shame about the connectivity as this would have been an excellent buy for the small asking price.

Only just received, set up of anemometer was so easy, seems so far so much better than the cheaper yellow ones previously used, that didn't last

A nice piece of kit, but as I needed it to measure wind-chill it did not do it as I required. The wind chill is indicated, but not above 0 degrees and only in isolation, not in comparison to ambient temperature. It was also a bit bigger than expected. It did however measure ambient temperature and wind speed effectively, so if that's all you want it will be fine.

After downloading the application on my phone phone connected straight away with the bluetooth no issues Samsung G7.extremely happy with the way you can can not just read the speed as a one off measurement but also see the speed of the wind through a timescale so you can see the up-and-down of the wind in a graph
