KeterWood Style Deck Box

I received my box last Thursday afternoon. It took me about 1/2 hour to assemble. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Although, I believe, it suggests two people to assemble it, I managed it on my own. The only slightly difficult aspect was holding the lid, while trying to get the first screw in place.The box is quite sturdy, due to a part metal framework providing the additional strength.The box is large enough to hold all the cushions from our 3 seater swing, including the side bolster cushions, the patio table chair cushions and 2 umbrellas with supporting poles. Plus there is still room for other stuff.Since filling it up, we have had some torential rain showers. Hail and thunder storms, but the contents have remained bone dry. Very, very, pleased.

This deck box has a huge storage capacity. It takes all my thick outdoor furniture cushions from three chairs one swing and two benches. I also store a big parasol in it.I love the fact that I do not have to take everything indoors, pack them away and bring them out again on the next sunny day. This means that I have more space indoors and the cushions are always to hand outdoors.It was extremely easy to assemble and I was able to do it by myself. It so helpful the way the lid stays up.We have had some torrential rain lately, but nothing has got damp.I have given four stars only because the although it is described as wood effect, (which in a way it is), it still looks like a plastic box. In spite of this my visitors have all admired it.

I have three of these storage boxes buying them in 2011, 2012 and 2015. All of them still keep contents dry, the hydraulic arms still work and the material has not degraded in the sun or rain. These are good external storage boxes.

We needed somewhere to store all of our outside seating cushions and covers etc. This box was just big enough so I'm glad I had the largest one available. It arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble. It is very sturdy and will take the weight easily of 2 large adults if extra seating is required. Until it has gone through a winter I can't remark on how good a job it will do at at keeping everything dry and safe, or if the spiders will be able to get into it. The reason I am only giving it 4 stars is because I think that a little steel catch at the back of the lid doesn't work very well. I think it is supposed to hook into the rear panel to stop the lid from being lifted from behind when shut. I would recommend this product to others because I think it is the best of its kind on the market.

This substantial deck box fulfills our needs beautifully: we have a small flat with a wrap around balcony, half of which is used little for socialising so is ideal for BBQ and storage. The Keter Deck Box makes all the difference, from storing the bread maker (we could not possibly have room for that in our tiny kitchen!) to the balcony chairs. Whilst it has some cover, this summer's weather has certainly tested the waterproofing of the box - and, to date, everything has been kept beautifully dry. It is easy to padlock, too. It is quite big to use as seating, but is definitely possible. It was easy and quick for two people to put together; delivery was very prompt. We thoroughly recommend, providing you really do have the space for it.

well what a box , looks good , keeps things dry if you open lid slowly . easy assembly (two people is better than one ) hinges are fab , as the lid stays open while you look for what you want. its a great size for us , it holds a lot of gear . in all a great buy . all depends how you use it , we keep all out door cleaning gear in ours ( like a brush , a few kiddies chairs , some bottle of beer , and a lot of other nic nax . it is a nice piece of storage , thumbs up ..

I chose this to put my new flymo mower in- electric without a cuttings box, cost about 90£ through amazon, and it fits really well along with all the cable and bag of bits for the mower etc. there's plenty of room left, too in the box. I guess I'll get chair cushions and some tools in it too.It seems to be waterproof as the lid slightly overhangs the base and the click togetherness holds it tightly.It looks ok for a plastic box and blends in better with the shrubbery than I expected. You hardly notice it . The cat likes sitting on it as it gives her a warm vantage point in the sun.It was easy to put together; just study the pictures a little before starting.Pretty impressed with its sturdiness .Basically, a good outdoor horizontal seating shed!

Self-assembly products are notorious for being time-consuming and fiddly to put together. This is the opposite and a shining example of ease and speed of assembly with clear instructions. The product itself is excellent - appears robust and well made. So good I will be ordering another one. The size fits our outdoor furniture seat covers with just enough room to spare for the length. The pictures show two people sitting on it but that's a step further than I suggest going. It's more than robust enough to weather well but personally I wouldn't want to put that much weight on the lid. Still five stars though. I don't rate many products but this one deserves good feedback.
