Evans Sports 4 Gun Wooden Rack

The rack is made out of pine, a lightweight, relatively inexpensive wood, but I knew this going in because of the price. Some of the earlier reviews stated the rack was not padded in the gun slots, they now include some soft stick on velcro pads (the soft side) to put on if you wish. They did not come preinstalled, (or prestuck on) lol. Overall for the price I am happy. My guns are now on my wall it and looks decent in my opinion, and the rack was in good condition when it arrived, seemed to be packed and shipped well, no scratches, cracks or otherwise. Overall happy with the purchase.

it is not bad for the price. the magnet that holds the door had a screw that striped the wood so I will have to repair it before using it. Easier to do that then send it back. It had good reviews on other sites too. It does come assembled except for the protective pieces that need to be put on the restsUpdate: hung it on wall. started to put rifles on it but the both sides are cut exactly alike which makes it so the rifle does not sit right in the rack and they tilt forward. forget about scopes on the guns. You can't put four rifles on this with scopes and besides they DO NOT rest correctly in the slots.. It might hold bb guns ok or 22's without scopes but forget your big guns. I can't understand all the great ratings for this. I might keep it and figure out if I could use it for something else but certainly not rifles. Am greatly upset.

I have this gun rack hanging on the wall in my house. It is currently holding 2 shotguns and 2 rifles with scopes right now. I also have some ammunition in the cabinet. It is a lot lighter than expected but that is a good thing as it is hanging on the wall. I have nothing bad to say about this product as it is exactly as described in the product description and pictures. Just add the felt to where the guns sit and you're set.

Just mounted it and was perfect for my 2 bolt actions, semi auto .22, and 870 shotgun. It is what it is, and it's great at that! This is SOLID WOOD, and well crafted. I would much rather have furniture like this piece than all the veneered-over-particle-board junk that's de rigueur these days. Sure, this isn't sanded to a mirror finish; it's real wood, and no fakery. It comes completely assembled, ready to hang, although if you want the cloth strips (also included) you'll have to peel and stick them to the slots yourself--odd that they didn't do that, but hardly a deal killer, and it gives you the option to have them or not, as you wish. Even the mounting screws are included (although I used my own extra-long deck screws to really secure it).

I put this up over my bed to hold a few pellet rifles (I live in Mass, it is illegal to have any real guns accessible without 15 locks on them). The rack is very light - went into a dry wall and feels secure. The quality of the wood might not be top notch but it's sole purpose is to hold a gun and it does that very well. The bottom 'drawer' is nice - I wish it had a back to it (the wall is the back) but that is a minor complaint. The price is great and the design is cool.

This gun rack is a very nice addition to any decor. This was purchased for my nephew to spruce up his room and to have a good place for his guns. It takes up little space and does not stick out far from the wall. The shelf is an added plus for storage and opens very easily. The racks are spaced far enough apart and allow room for guns. Just make sure that the hooks on the wall are able to handle the weight of the rack plus the guns and you are good to go. It has a rustic look and is perfect for any decor. We were very pleased with this product for the price

This was a Christmas gift for my son. We opened it Christmas Eve night to put together to surprise him for Christmas the next morning. When we opened the box one of the loops that actually holds the gun was broken off. We had to fix with gorilla glue because it was too late to try to return it for another one. other than that it seemed like a great gun rack.
