Nylon Flashlight Holster, Fits Lights up to 5 Inches Long

Well the product just arrived at my house. It appears to be fairly durable. I have two GSX flashlights that are my favorite. One is 5" (260 lumens), the other is 4.5" (180 lumens). I have an Ultrafire 2000 lumens, and a few others, but I prefer to leave them around the house/truck and carry the more trusted flashlights.This product page claims that the product holds up to a 5" flashlight. Technically, I must agree. Although I'm not going to carry my 5" flashlight in it because I don't want to lose it. The 4.5" fits amazingly. The 5" flashlight fits just barely. There's maybe 1/8th of an inch of Velcro holding it down. I'll just have to carry the less bright flashlight.I will rate 4 stars and recommend this to any flashlight under 4.75".

In short, if you want to carry a flashlight on your belt every day, use a different pouch/holster. This one won't do the job.I purchased the holster to carry a 5" long by 1" diameter flashlight. Since the product description states "Fits Lights up to 5 Inches Long" I figured it would do the job. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The velcro flap wasn't long enough to match up with the velcro on the body of the holster with the 5" light in it. I was able to use a small piece of velcro to extend the flap to make it work. Other than that, it appeared to be reasonably well made so I thought that would be fine.However, after only a couple of weeks I noticed that the top of the belt loop was starting to come loose, and within a day or two the bottom of the belt loop completely separated from the body of the holster. Upon further inspection, the belt loop wasn't folded over at either end and was only single-stitched (each end of the belt loop was obscured by a pair of horizontal pieces of nylon so that wasn't obvious from my initial inspection).

I bought this for a 4 ¼” long Cree 250 lumen tactical light (Costco 3 pack). It has a 1 ¼” bell. Light fits perfectly, but with only maybe another ½” to spare. If the light was 5” I do not think it would fit. As for quality, you get what you pay for. The material seems like mid-weight, not heavy weight. For my purposes it works. If you need it for everyday work, law enforcement or military, I doubt it would hold up for long.

It works OK and holds my S&W flashlight just fine, but the stitching on the holster side Velcro came loose after about twenty opening/closings and required repair, which in my case was an application of Gorilla glue...problem solved. Another small issue is that it has a belt loop attachment instead of a a belt clip. No big deal, just something I need to remember BEFORE I put on my belt.

I bought this for my Maglite XL series flashlights.- XL50- XL150- XL200I got one and it fit nicely so I immediately ordered two more.However as I wore it the first day, twice my flashlight fell out.The elastic is not the same on each side and the flap slides off.There is no way to tighten it down enough to hold it.I was highly dissapointed.I cancelled the order for the two more. Will probably keep this one, but definitely don't want two more of the same.Update:The stiching for the belt loop gave out shortly after the first review was written.Seems about 4 stiches were used to hold the belt loop to the sleeve.I'll be re-stitching this correctly this time. Still wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Good price. Adaptable to a variety of small LED lights. With a little sail-twin to adjust the fit a little more snugly for my small LED light, it works great. Belt loop is excellent, not too large or small. Delivered in a timely manner from seller.

This was just as advertised. It does what it says it will; it holds my flashlight. This fits on a 1.75 inch belt as well. The only issue is that the stitching on the belt strap seems to be flimsy.
