I was pleasantly surprised with this lamp! It is much higher quality than it appears in photo. It's heavy and well-made. You get what you pay for!•The white finish is matte, not shiny. No weird size bulbs--I really like that.•Perfect bright lighting for tasks or reading•It looks good, much better than my previous task lamps.

Excellent craftsmanship and materials for the price. Assembly was not as difficult as I made it. Actually, it was enjoyable to put together. The tiered lighting fits my needs. Very Nice Addesso.

Really love how this lamp looks. It's metal and feels solid when put together. Put 3 smart bulbs in it and it's a wonderful lighting feature. The assembly was an absolute pain though. It's awkward, and the screw parts were badly fitted - to the point where I needed lubricant and pliers to get everything turned all the way. Took well over an hour, and on top of this, the bottom plate was missing. If this was $20, I wouldn't complain. For a $200 lamp though, a missing part and cheaply thrown together connecting parts bugs me. If you can navigate through the means to the end though - excellent lamp.Update: I've amended my star rating after speaking to the pleasant and all around helpful English speaking customer service of Adesso.

Very high quality lamp, albeit a bit expensive. The material and build quality is great. Included USB port is a nice addition. Works with a smart outlet too. Great purchase.

Packaging doesn't provide proper support and guides for quality control to see before shipment & light posts were not parallel - can't straighten them to make them parallel.Delivered with the two light posts in a slight 'V', bent apart and I can't get them straight/parallel to each other.Delivered with cheap wing nuts(?) not attached but 'somewhere' in the box to find. The connections to tilt the lights up/down seems to use bad metals and wouldn't last long for multiple people tilting it to their liking to read. If it is a set it and forget it for one then it should be fine.Overall, way too high of a cost for such low quality.

I was hesitant to buy this because I thought it might look too mid-century modern--but when it came out of the box, I was impressed. It's much heavier than I expected--and really very attractive. Now--here's the downside--which wasn't a surprise because other people mentioned the fact that the heads only move up and down--they don't swivel sideways. However, I thought it would still work as a bedside table between two twin beds. But it didn't work all that well because not being able to swivel limits being able to direct the light as much as I wanted. Having said all this, however, it's such an attractive lamp that I decided to put it on another table in the same room--and it's great. Provides nice light--and looks great. If the heads swiveled sideways, and not just up and down, I'd definitely give it 5 stars. But if that isn't an issue for you--then I highly recommend this table lamp.

Exactly as expected, sturdy, high quality, not too tall nor short, with nicest feature - USB port for charging my cell or laptop, perfect lamp for medium size bedroom with small desk, will buy again😃

I bought this for my living room but it is not as high as I really need and the lights are too concentrated for my need - but my office desk can use a good lamp and this will go there. Good quality. Keeping it.
