REALLY convenient!! Well built!
The PERFECT solution for a cordless chop saw with a corded vacuum! (if you don't have bluetooth like me haha) THE GOOD: Built very well! Rubber grips on the bottom keep it in place. Grip tape on the top makes it so it's not slippery when stepping on it. The on/off is instant! Push on for go, let off for stop is a nice feature. The cord is heavy gauge and feels like it will hold up for the long haul. THE BAD: The only bad thing is the cord is very stiff. not a deal breaker by any means. OVERALL: An extremely well built momentary switch that is the perfect solution if you have a battery powered miter saw and a corded vacuum. I wanted the bluetooth makita saw and vac that has the auto start function but accidentally bought the non bluetooth version! So I use this momentary switch with my 5HP Ridgid vac and it is super convenient!

Works great with a drill press
I am using this foot switch with a large drill press. It works great! I wish I had purchased it years ago. I can now keep my hands on what I am doing instead of having to reach for the on/off switch on the drill press. To use the foot switch, I just plug the drill press' electric plug into the outlet on the back of the plug on the cord that comes with the foot switch, then plug that cord into the wall outlet. The drill press' power switch is left in the on position. When I step on the foot switch the drill starts to run, and when I take my foot off of the switch the drill stops. The cord is more than sufficiently long for this purpose. The switch is solid, made of metal, not plastic and flimsy like some other foot switches. I plan to purchase one or two more of these foot switches for other tools.

small, solid, and works well... not the best one for outdoor use
I like this switch, and wanted to buy another (for an electric log splitter). Not available at the time, so I tried Twidec (item B08LN9F6JV) and found it was FAR better for outdoor use. Twidec is IP44 rated (no particles larger than 1mm can get in) but not technically waterproof. This one is smaller but harder to feel with your foot and won't keep anything (like sand) out. Depends on what you need!

A well made switch suitable for the applilcation I needed it for. I did comment back to the factory and suggested that they choose a different type of cord that is more flexible. The wire that comes with it has a very stiff plastic jacket and could well become a tripping hazard due to not lying flat on the floor like a rubber jacketed type. The switch is not sealed in any way so owners need to use it in clean & dry conditions free from metal shavings which could accumulate inside and cause a short circuit. I use it in my shop so I may encase the switch in a rubber envelope for safety's sake.

Great design.
This is an excellent product. I have it running my wire wheel and polishing arbors. The cord is very heavy duty (14 AWG) and the pedal is small, but the cord does not affect the stability of the pedal. I had considered the MLCS 9080 but the Linemaster T-91-SC3A seems to be a more convenient design and well worth the additional 80 cents. The MLCS has the pedalโs power cord coming out of its right side and the toolโs power cord plugging into the back of the pedal โ two cords running from the bench to the floor at two different angles. The Linemaster pedal has one cord coming out of the back of the pedal - the tool connects to the back of the pedalโs plug at the mains outlet so its cord is completely out of the way. The Linemaster has a very low profile; it is flat and less than an inch high. It requires very little lifting of the front of your foot, and without a steep angle there is no tendency for it to be pushed away as you step on it. I was impressed by the specifications and photos provided on the Amazon pages for the Linemaster switches, whereas the pages for the MLCS products were not very helpful. Fortunately, answers from several owners and a photo on eBay were able to provide enough information to help me make a decision.

Low profile adds comfort
I have used many foot pedals and this one is my favorite. The low profile means that you donโt have to stand with your hips tilted which means less fatigue. I have been using this every day to control my welding positioned and shop vacuum with no problems. Very happy with this product and I would recommend it my friends.

Cheaper than LEM.
Bought a LEM meat grinder and this is a much more economical version of the LEM peddle. Works great with the LEM. It seems to be sturdy and well built.

it is a true 15A unit with heavy gauge wire and a 15a relay inside, not like some offshore ones that claim to be 15a but aren't. good feel on the foot, not too high off the ground. will see how it lasts. works well.

This a great addition to my small shop. I no longer have to keep my vacuum running when temporarily using my tools. Now, with a step, I can actuate the vac only when doing cutting only. This reduces the noise a bit more. This switch is made of metal, with rubber padding to reduce slipping, and it seems durable. I presume with normal use, it will last a very long time. I also like that you can have it on the ground upside-down too, and it still works the same. I am glad I got this momentary-switch.

Works great for the shop vac when using bench saw and seams to be very well built. Nice purchase. Very fast delivery.

I tried it with a couple tools, it works as published. Only gotcha is the female part of the plug is super tight. I have to push like crazy to get anything connected. But then again it ensure it does not pull out either.

Upgraded. I like this much better then the big plastic peddle. I sit using my scroll saw and I found the big plastic peddle tiresome. This one is very solid and low to the floor.
