soyond 300A Circuit Breaker with Automatic Reset (No Manual Button Disconnect)

This breaker does not work as specified in the description. First, under a load of about 200A, it drops the voltage from 12.1 to 11.6. That is a lot! Second, under the same load, it gets hot and drips after a few minutes. I am using with 271AH Lifepo battery pack and inverter/charger, and I tested the entire system under various load conditions. Have to replace this breaker with a normal fuse.

These breakers are priced right, easily installed, and of obvious quality. Best of all, they actually work! I misunderestimated the real-world output of a solar array under absolute peak conditions, and selected too small a breaker size. As a result, two of these both actually tripped when overloaded just like they're supposed to. According to my after-the-fact reconstruction of the event, they did so just as the current reached their rated 60 amps. I can't ask for more than that.

I installed this on my amps on my boat. Easy mounting and installation. Seems a little cheap but it has worked with no issues.

I bought 4 of these to be able to isolate each of my 4 solar panels on my van. So if it got hit by lightning I’m hoping it would blow the circuit breaker. It also lets me switch off any one of my solar panels from my circuit.

These r GREAT CURCUIT BREAKERS I have used 3 of them. 2 of this exact type. And 1 of the slightly lesser cost version. They are nice to use VS a Fuse because one doesn't need to carry replacement fuses. I also use mine as a battery disconnect (HEAVY DUTY SWITCH) also. I would not hesitate to purchase one of these vs the experience brands. I have uses 150A, 200A, and 250A.Look nice and fit in same space as a fuse of this amp rating. I do not have a way to test the trip point. But would guess that it is within 5amps either way. This Tech/design has been around for along time it is not that complex of a product to manufacture.

these breakers make mounting and wiring easier without needing terminals,just wire in and tighten set screw.beware i have had some 300 amp breakers trip at 80 amps possibly defective or mis labled in manufacturing . returns have been processed easily with amazon. i like these breakers and have many of them in use,of varying amperage ratings. sleeve can be easily removed to accept up to 3/0 cable. very important when you have large cables. will not accept 4/0 cables

Bought to replace a similar breaker on my custom car with same amperage, and standard size, holes and and terminal locations. ..but found later that it's wired backwards from most others (battery connection on lower post and Aux on the top). I could mount it upside down, or re-do the wiring. ...but don't like that. ...but then I discovered (before installation or connection, but too late to return it) that it's defective. The reset lever moves back and forth but won't reset! So, I ordered a different brand, and checked in advance that the connection posts are standard.

Great product. Bought a 1500w inverter that came with a really retarded 150A fuse, so I replaced it with this.It had no trouble accepting 2g wire and the set screws lock on solidly. Easy to mount. The breaker has a nice solid, smooth action.
