The pattern is beautiful with a background that is really white not off white or cream. The table cloth irons beautifully and I'm sure the curtains will as well. The fabric is just like my mother's and grandmother's old table cloths and allows me to feel that some things can indeed remain the same. I also have the place mats which I use as decorative accents. Together they help create a crisp, clean, but by no means cold or antiseptic look. The curtains provide privacy even when back lit at night, but allow enough light in during the day to avoid the necessity of burning the electricity unless it is overcast. My kitchen window is wide so I'm using two sets of curtains (four panels) but have no difficulty sliding them as desired for more or less light. This is a lovely product and I am delighted to have it. JRG

This faience pattern caught my eye almost one year ago, and I purchased the potholders to see how they would look. Well, they looked even better than fine that wanted to buy the whole collection. My sister found out and sent me the chair cusions, but I returned them because I had already purchased a couple of cheap pads that didn't move. Well I found out why they didn't move, now my pure oak chairs are ruined from the pressed glue -- tragedy. I wish I had those cushions now. They were really puffy with buttons. I try to stick to my budget; nevertheless, I told myself I would buy one item per month of the collection. I purchased the curtains recently, and I love them as well. Kudos you Maison 'de Hermine for providing this collection. Therefore, the 5 star rating.

These curtains are so beautiful! I bought 2 sets of the French toile pattern in blue kitchen curtains (which includes a valance and two smaller curtains), to go on a large window. I had two main concerns:1) this pattern in blue looks more vibrant on the photos than the long curtains in the same pattern. I took a side by side photo of my long curtains (on the top) and these curtains (on the bottom) There’s a slight difference in that these curtains are a little more vibrant but overall they match well.2) I was also worried 2 valances would be too long for our window but I like the ruffled look up top and am please with how it turned out.It was a little pricey to buy 2 sets, however, these and the matching toile curtains are timeless and I know I’ll have them for years to come. Also we rent so I might have the opportunity to use the bottom curtain sets for the next home we move into.Overall I’m happy. Looking back I might have bought all of my sets in the denim color but I think this looks more farmhouse since the background color looks more like duck cloth.If you’re on the fence, I’d say get them. I love this brand and look forward to purchasing more of their coordinating sets in the future.Also, this isn’t sponsored or anything I bought these with my own money but so far I’m a fan. I get a little leery over imported cotton goods (will they really be cotton? will they shrink? will they bleed? will they fall apart after first wash?). But was pleasantly surprised. These washed up nice. The rod pocket was a little tight. They do need a touch up along the hem after washing. Nice thickness for privacy. A little pricy. Ended up having to purchase an extra set to accommodate Victorian windows to get nice structure/ privacy from neighbors multi-story building. Colours did not bleed. Nice addition to a French country kitchen.

I was a bit taken aback when I read "Avoid exposure to direct sunlight" in the instructions. After all, these are window curtains. However, they are very pretty and well made, and I don't expect to keep them forever anyhow. I like the small number of birds, so the curtain isn't too "busy." The birds are red, orange, green, and blue, so it would suit any color scheme. This particular bathroom is seldom used for anything except hand washing, so I tied the curtains back to let in light, but they can be easily untied for privacy. Also, the back is pure white -- a good thing because I don't like for prints to face outside my windows. I am quite pleased with my purchase.

This colors in this pattern are beautiful, various shades of blues, greens, oranges and yellows. The background is ivory, not white which is what I thought from the picture. The material is really nice, not too thick but not too sheer either. All in all a great buy and I will definitely buy other items in this pattern in the near future.

I purchased matching items for my kitchen. Together, they transformed the space. I am very happy with the design, but the quality is also exceptional. The fabric is thick, so they cover the window well for privacy, however they do not let in much light. This is great for us. They can easily be tied back to let in the sun, and the opacity makes it so that no one can see through the window at night when our lights are on. Easy to install, they slid right on a simple extendable small tension rod, though if the rod has thick or bulbous ends, like mine did, you have to slide it on before putting the rod together and activating the tension spring.

I needed new curtains in a guest bathroom and found these. Beautifully sewn, nice heavy weight cotton, very high quality. So well folded and packaged that only a slight touch up with an iron was needed. They are not inexpensive, I admit, but worth the price in my opinion They will last for years. I love beautiful linens and these are some of the best. I've ordered other items such as kitchen towels that were just as well made and gorgeous. Would give ten stars if I could.

Das war ein Fehlkauf..Leider muss die Rücksendung bis nach Amerika gehen..deshalb liegt das Produkt noch ungenutzt bei mir rum..was soll ich machen....Knatschiger Stoff und sieht am Fenster nicht nach Gardinen aus..

These curtains are worth the money, they are a nice linen and iron beautifully. Once hung, they drape really well. The quality of the sewing is great, not a loose thread anywhere. Extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend these to others.

I love the soft brightness of these curtains. They brighten my kitchen up without being blinding. Really Lovely.

Good quality, however I was very disappointed in the colour. Doesn't suit my room at all. Was meant to be mint green background but is a sickly blue shade.
