I was a little disapointed in this item
We were really excited to start using this mat, but it just didn't work as well as shown. The water did bring up really light colors, the stamps just made little blobs and the kids got bored with it after 5 minutes when the mat was wet. They seemed to like the water on the mat vs the mat itself. I was really disappointed

Not rainbow colored as pictured
I specifically bought this doodle mat because of the "rainbow" colored background that is pictured and listed in the description. I'm disappointed to see its 4 blocks of color sections, which I took the picture to show. Also, the instructions printed on the water pens are backwards. Twist left to tighten, right to loosen. Aside from that, my kids are enjoying it and it seems like it will hold up. 3 stars are due to the false color description .

Works good
Works like a regular aqua doodle but not an ACTUAL aqua doodle branded product. Came in the usual made in China bag with made in china sticker.NOTE: to open pens you turn clockwise to open and counter-clockwise to close. with tip facing you its left to tighten and right to open. This was on the 2 i got at least.

Great for young toddlers, especially the ones that like to put everything in their mouth. NO MESS
My 16 month old granddaughter loves this mat, especially, when I give her one of my real paintbrushes and a small cup of water! She thinks she is painting like me.

No clean up and great toy
Great for keeping a toddler distracted with no clean up!

It works but the colors are dull and the material seems cheap. I doubt it will last very long.

Do not buy
It’s big and pretty but the drawing is very slow to show up so the kids lose interest. Its like the water from the pens won’t sink in. It’s a real shame. I have another mat that works much better and they play with it all the time.
