Lacking basic quality control.
Quality control doesn't seem to be part of this kit. All but one of the aluminum adapters were damaged in one way or another, with most having dents and scratches on their bodies, both from before they were anodized and after. Others still had metal shavings from the manufacturing process on them, or wernt fully machined. Given that this is a pressure test kit for a sealed system, these metal shavings could break free and clogg radiator passages and get stuck in thermostats. Not what I want to see from a new tool. All in its a cheep kit that has fit on every vehicle ive used it on, from an 1985 Nissan to a 2018 Q7. I expected better seeing as the tool is new and isn't the cheapest option on amazon. Definatly a case of you get what you pay for.

Does not work on a 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe
The kit is well made, but doesnt work for the 2017 sante fe i bought it for. it is close but the OD of the radiator opening is just a bit bigger than the ID of the test cap thats supposed to work.

Quick connect leaks thus reduced pressure readings may not indicate coolant leak.
First use of the brand new product I attached the radiator cap adapter to my Honda Civic to test for possible coolant leak. I attached the quick connect fitting on the hand pump to the radiator cap fitting and started to pressurize the system. Immediately the quick connect started leaking air. On the first try I was able to only pressurize to 10 lbs and by the time I wiggled the quick connect fitting to stop it from leaking the pressure had reduced to 8 lbs. I couldn't hear any hissing sounds so I left it for 10 minutes. When I returned the pressure was down to 5 lbs. I inspected all connections in the cooling system for leaks and could not find fluid. I managed to pressurize the system to 18 lbs and stopped the hissing at the quick connect at 17 lbs. After 20 minutes there was no change in pressure. After an hour the pressure had dropped to 16 lbs. Still no leaking antifreeze. Due to the inconsistent results I am unsure whether the dropping pressure is due to a leak in the cooling system or an inaudible leak at the quick connect of the test equipment. I DO NOT recommend this test kit to anyone.
