I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect wafer paper butterflies for my friend's daughter's 1st birthday cake, and I finally settled on these -- so glad I did! Unlike some of the others I looked at, these had color printed all the way to the edge, so there were no unsightly white borders. The colors are a lovely muted pastel, though the pink reads a little more peach in certain light. The taste is slightly bitter, but hey, what do you expect -- these are edible, but not meant to be eaten alone. They're totally fine if someone bites into one while eating your cake!Instead of trying to bend the wings, place the butterfly in the palm of your hand and gently press a single finger on the middle of its body and hold for about 30 seconds -- the heat of your hand/finger will soften the paper and cause it to curl up from the middle (see third pic). You can repeat the process a few times to get the wings to stand up even more.The backside is not printed, so keep that in mind while you're bending up the wings. Since the colors are so soft and muted, it's not noticeable, but just keep that in mind if you're putting these butterflies on darker frosting where it might stand out more. I took a black edible marker and darkened the bodies of some of the butterflies, just for added contrast. You could probably do the same for the wings with other colors, but be careful since they'll dissolve with too much moisture.Overall, I'm thrilled with the effect and will definitely be coming back for more the next time I need butterflies!

Bought the orange monarch butterflies for my husband's birthday cake. He recently published a book with a huge monarch butterfly on the cover. I was glad I was able to order these online and get them home in time. They bend easily without breaking, look amazing, and are easy to apply on frosting.

This is just an ugly, flat picture of a rose and the picture is too dark and out of focus to see the rose clearly. It may be edible, but it is an ugly and flat picture. 24 pieces is about 1/4 of an inch thick. And they are not two inches in diameter, they are closer to 1 1/2 inch. This is just an ugly, flat picture of a rose. I would not give this product any stars and I would never order again.

Great design easy to apply to my cupcakes. Taste was not great only downside. Fast shipping would buy again

Holly leaves with berries looked great on my Buche de Noel. Had a bit of taste but bought for the look. Will buy again when needed!

Cute little sugar paper for baking decorations. Unfortunately. delivery was a full 6 days after the promised delivery date when I placed the order. I’ll save them for next year. So… order with caution if you are on a tight timeline.
