Amazing Network IP Cameras for the cost!
The media could not be loaded. I love these cameras... I started off with their analog version of these and loved them so much that I asked about their IP version when I switched my home CCTV system over to IP. I have 8 of these IP ones currently and will be getting more soon.Anyone with issues or complaining about them working right isn't reading the instructions or the Amazon listing. I am reading other reviews and they are all from people who have no clue what a NETWORK IP CAMERA is and think they can just plug it in and go. That is NOT the case as this camera requires a WIRED network for this to hard connect to AND a Network NVR to record the video to. This also requires a separate power supply plugged into the barrel plug or you need another device called a POE injector. This understand this camera once purchased needs a wire Router, a POE switch, and a NVR. if you do not have any of this stuff, this is NOT FOR YOU AND WILL NOT WORK!The instructions clearly say how they work and what the login information is. I just plugged them into my POE, and after a few minutes they came up and were working fine.Note:(1) The EasyVMS default username is admin, default password is blank;(2) The IP camera default username is admin, default password is blank;I posted a picture of the instructions too. My NVR currently has 8 of them working without issues as seen on my monitor. The quality of these products for the price is spot on and their customer service is by far the best I have experience. I love how the ethernet connection end has an led that confirms its communicating with my network.I have emailed them questions and they are fast to reply with answers and are willing to go the extra mile to make me a happy customer. I was already happy, but are even more happier now.

Good high quality camera at a fair price that gives a great wide angle view.
This fisheye security camera gives a great wide angle view with precise clarity. As a professional security camera installer, this is my new "goto" camera for so many applications. My customers really enjoy being able to see so much more than the average camera view. I highly recommend this camera.

No real review
I was unable to get it to work on my Annke NVR system. I'm sure someone with more tech knowledge than me could, but I did not fell like putting in the time. Solid product.

I can't doesn't work.
I can't get it to work. Instructions in the box are missing key information. They just plug in and it will work. I need the default username and password

Pretty good Camera
Quality in day time is O.K, but night time is pretty bad.Update: Seller contacted me and sent 2 camera glass covers. After replacing it, the image looks pretty good in the day and night time.

Unimpressive Right Out of the Box
The first thing we noticed upon opening this was the crack in the software disc. The second thing we noticed was the migraine inducing miniscule print on the tiny instruction pamphlet. The third thing was that you have to buy a DC 12 volt adapter to use, or run a network cable to use (also a separate purchase). I cannot speak to the actual function of the camera, as we live rurally, and will now have to make a trip at some point to buy what we need to install.

A good IP POE Surveillance camera!
The camera comes as most all do in a metal housing with the glass dome protected by a clear film. If you cannot find a physical manual, explore the mini-CD that comes with the camera. You will find the manual there. The camera instructions assume you know a little something about surveillance cameras. If you don't have that knowledge, you are at the mercy of the "automatic" configuration; which, may be dangerous in terms of configuration. I'll admit the setup of this camera was simple. So are modifications. I just don't trust surveillance camera systems that "do it for you" because you have no idea what was done. And, you never know what is happening to your video files "in the cloud". Once someone has access, there is NOTHING stopping them from using that data to their advantage. Not accusing anyone of anything but the potential for abuse is there. Mitigate it before you have problems. That said, it appears to be an excellent camera and picture from the 2 hours I've had it online. I currently have a 5MP video image on both the camera's default software and I successfully imported the same to Blue Iris. Both alarm configs are working and did so immediately after configuration. [I tend to use 3rd party software to avoid any potential security problems. And, the default monitoring software will be deactivated fairly soon.] Total time to setup and config the camera took maybe 30 minutes. Make sure you change the username and password; and, NEVER EVER, use a public IP address for a camera configuration. If you do, you are asking for trouble. From my experience this evening, this camera is a good investment in your personal security.

Feeling Much Better!
I love being able to have this camera in the house and for it to be so versatile to where I can look at a couple of areas at one time. Lately, there's been some phenomenon going on in our home, that we can't quite explain, it helped us be able to catch the things that we were kind of suspicious of.Overall the picture quality is really good itself but it does need a little bit more adjusting visually, so it might just be our focus, but it is a phenomenal camera, especially for the security of your home and I definitely recommend having one instead of being caught without one, just in case you need more for emergency purposes and or to be able to document what may or may not be going on when you can't see everything. Awesome Camera to have!

Good features but not really 180º
The features on the camera (login via web browser) are better than expected, especially the BLC (Back Light Compensation) option, WDR option. I wish there was built-in camera documentation but most make sense. I am disappointed that the Field of View is about 140º, not 180º. Even on the diagonal, it’s not 180º. The photo on Amazon showing both sides of the wall was misleading. EasyVMS (PC Windows 7) wasn’t easy, seemed buggy, and couldn’t connect with my Heimvision cameras. V6SLite app on iPad worked OK, but again it could not connect with my HeimVision cameras. IPCams app on iPad could connect to both this DCSEC camera and the Heimvision cameras (see photo). Make sure you specify the desired path for the RTSP (either Main or Sub stream. 5MP Main stream seemed to freeze on EasyVMS but good resolution on my 2016 iPad (either directly on camera website, or the V6SLite or IPCams apps). Microphone is quite sensitive and clear, although volume adjust on camera settings doesn’t seem to do anything. Nice that the dome is held on with star-shaped (Torx) screws for security (key provided). Now to find an NVR that is compatible, especially with recording audio and doing easy motion detection searches.
