Ultimately what is the Truth, it is for the reader to decide
I am yet to complete this book but the attention given to the details of a GREAT PERSONALITY like MOTHER TERESA kept me in awe. It requires GREAT COURAGE to write this book, because this book is not a pro-Mother Teresa book, but brings into light about Mother Teresa from the author’s perspective contrary to what we know about her. The author substantiates his claims from various interviews and talks given by Mother Teresa and other evidences which was against the “realistic picture”. You need to read only a few pages of the book to know this. Finally, what Mother Teresa is. The readers are left with only one choice to choose between the following. Mother Teresa as we know her, Mother Teresa as portrayed by the author. Whatever choice the reader makes only one person know the Truth and that will be Mother Teresa herself.

A saint’s image, a scandal’s truth—discover the other side of Mother Teresa.
Mother Teresa: The Untold Story isn’t your usual halo-polishing biography—it’s more like pulling back the curtain on a global icon. Aroup Chatterjee brings receipts, challenging the saintly narrative with gritty investigations into the Missionaries of Charity and their operations. Think less "angel of Calcutta," more "saint with a shadow." The book reads like a true crime exposé meets moral philosophy, raising tough questions about suffering, charity, and Western savior complexes. It's relentless, sometimes uneven, but never boring. Whether you end up skeptical or just more nuanced, it’ll definitely shake the holy water. And if you're not careful, it might make you rethink everything you thought you knew about the woman who was canonized as a saint. Take it with a grain of salt—and a healthy dose of skepticism.

Must read.
Great to find this book here. Myths have been created and repeated continually by dystorians and passed off as history . Read this book to know the truth.

Wonderful researched data. Must know facts.
Brilliant effort. Don't know why so less reviews available here. It's not an attempt to demonize Teresa. Rather an attempt to present quantified facts with statistics that how she is not worth the hype let alone getting a Nobel for it.The author tabled the data comparing many other groups doing much more for people in need for Calcutta or India or even helping other countries. But unfortunately we only know one name Teresa, the white skin saviour of the dark skinned poor n hungry Indians. If you find my last line a bit harsh, then read the book for data. The research is mind blowing but the writing could have been more engaging. Would love it more if it could be more like a story telling rather than reading a report of statistical survey.

This book presents facts, not opinion
This book ain't an opinion, so being a critic won't be right. It contains years of research of the author presented as facts and he does assure having enough proof to validate the same!

Astonishing and eye-opener
You will feel ashamed to have picked up and believed so much deceit all these years. DO read this and realize the truth.
