**Q: Will a AC transformer wok with these lights?**
A: All are AC input and DC out put in low voltage transformers should work

**Q: Will these survive a cold Midwest winter?**
A: I can't answer that question. I installed my set this past spring, so i haven't experienced a winter with these. However these lights are great!!!...nice and bright, sturdy exterior covering, and easy to install.

**Q: Can you wire this to a 3 prong plug?**
A: You need a transformer to convert from AC to DC.

**Q: do these lights have a quick connect system?**
A: Not unless it’s a option to purchase. They each come with a short attached pigtail cable that has been stripped and tinned with solder.

These landscape lights look nice and work well but do not come with wire connectors needed you install them.

These lights are compact and very bright. The fixture itself is made of durable aluminum and should hold up well over time. The brackets that attach the fixture to the stake are very thin metal. When you're pushing the fixture into the ground, you have to push down on the stake, not the fixture. Otherwise, the bracket will bend easily. People who complain about this detail should, instead, be shopping for much more expensive lights that come with cast aluminum brackets. Those are about 5x more expensive than these. Also, these lights do not come with the pins that let you tie into the 12v power wire quickly. So, you have two options. You can manually splice them into the power wire or you can spend a few dollars and order the pins separately here on Amazon. Again, these lights are very inexpensive, so the cost-cutting has to come from somewhere. Regardless, they are a good value.
