Only hearing/reading about Dynamat I knew it was a great product and made the conscientious decision to install this when I replaced my door speakers in a 2008 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab 4x4.Description is a little vague, but you get 12 square feet or 4 - 12" x 36" sheets of which was enough to hit the lower portion of my doors. I was not interested in dropping $150 or more to complete each of my huge 4 doors and still got exceptional performance in my loud truck. I also did not try and cover all the existing holes where the stamped parts lie and only where door sill and speakers are. I believe road noise/engine sounds are 25-30% QUIETER and speakers have more richness due to exterior noise being cut down.FYI: Dynamat is a synthetic silicone/rubber material exactly like the seal used to install that paper insulation in today’s vehicles; in a full sheet form. It features an aluminum backing that will be the exterior face when applying in your car. Don't waste money buying that stupid roller either; I was able to form and apply all areas with just my hand and elbow grease.Another tip to getting it to lay flat is sitting it out in the sun to rest flat. Material has some memory from being stored the box.

Dynamat worked well and was fairly easy to apply. Helped to boost the bass in my new infinity speakers.

I purchased this for my 01 Firebird and it definitely made my ride a lot more quit then before.
