Mobvoi TicWatch PRO Charging Dock, Replacement Charging Dock, Smartwatch Accessories, Charging Dock, only for TicWatch Pro

The original charger for my TicWatch Pro failed after about six months. I didn't know it was the charger until I got a new one, which was much cheaper than replacing the watch or sending it off to be checked.This time, when the charger arrived, I studied the sheet that came with it and saw that it overheats if you leave it plugged in. Of course; like no other charger I've ever owned ...The new charger is working fine. I am diligent to make sure it's not plugged in unless I'm actually charging the watch, and hopefully, it will last this time around.

these are original chargers made by Mobvoi and the only ones I will use with my ticwatch pro. I purchased a cheap knock-off charger for less money but after a few days of use it became obvious that it was not charging the watch correctly, but these work without any issues and are exactly what you would expect from the Mobvoi brand

I love my TicWatch Pro but after a vacation, it died. It suffered from a very common problem - put it on the dock, it'll recognize it and flash a lightning bolt for a few seconds indicating a deep discharge, then it'll just die again. I spent a lot of time waiting on Mobvoi support to authorize an RMA on the watch before I found a post somewhere saying it wasn't the watch... it was the dock! Because of a defective design, these docks will stop charging the watch if more than 1 amp goes through them. It's not just RECOMMENDED to use 1 amp or less, it's practically required! Since most USB chargers allow you to draw 2 amps or more, if you connect this to any USB charger that supports fast charging, it'll quietly fail and never work again. Of course, the dock has to DRAW more than 1 amp in the first place for this to happen - the charger doesn't just push 2 amps on its own. But if you plug it into certain fast chargers, eventually it will pull more than 1 amp and kill itself. And once that happens... have fun blowing another $20 on a new dock. But at least it's not the watch...

This charger is factory just like the one that came with my watch. I love the Ticwatch Pro! It is by far the best smart watch I have had. Someone finally designed a watch with fantastic functionality but also included a charging connector that works and works well!

I am giving this product 3 stars just because I had to order a new one just because the one that came with the watch just stopped working... It started by charging slowly and continued showing the watch as charging but not actually doing it, and it ended up by just not showing anything on the watch and eventually the battery drained completely I was afraid that my watch was dead... After reading mobvoi forums I came to know that I was not the only one having the same problem and the root cause was the expected power input for this cable, the whole time I carried the cable and connected it to several power sources...This cable MUST BE connected to a 5V 1A power brick otherwise it will break after some time this is stated in the back of the charger, however, if it is sooo important to comply with that, why MOBVOI didnt include a power brick with the watch at the first place? Even in the cheapest things I have purchased like portable LED lights or cheap bluetooth headsets they include one... For me this is just a consumer trap, because eventually your cable will stop working and the only thing you can do is order a new one from mobvoi since some people in the forum reported that 3rd party cables could not work or could even damage your watch....

This charger is all I need for a travel charger when away from home, on the road or at work to keep my smartwatch fully charged when I need it most. It works exactly as the original charger that came with my Ticwatch Pro.

I bought two chargers to have a backup. These chargers worked for a short time and then stopped charging my watch. I thought it might have been a problem with my watch but after researching, it sounds like the chargers are the problem. I haven't been able to use my TicWatch Pro for over a year because the chargers no longer work adequately. One charger doesn't work at all and the other one is so sensitive and has to be positioned a certain way to potentially charge. Now I see these chargers are no longer available.

I purchased a extra after the original seemed to not want tocharge as fast as it should.Afterlooking over the watch I determined that the contact wasdirty from sweat.A q.tip and alcohol was a quick fix.Oh wellmaybe someday I'll need it.I know not to try any aftermarket charger as that leads to problems.

The charging dock is the best part of this watch. Good thing it's easy enough to connect considering you have to charge the useless watch so often.

Came as a bonus with the watch. Handy to have.
