i-BlasonArmorbox Full Body Heavy Duty Protection Case with Built in Screen Protector for 6.5-Inch iPhone XS Max (2018), Black

I-Blason produce a slim line case and this heavier weight version. I own an Ares case, and this protect very well, while keeping visibility to the phone underneath, however for my needs I wanted to add some additional protection to the camera area, and this Armorbox case adds to the protection at the back to keep the camera lens protected. Yes it adds some bulk, but for my line of work this is perfect. Anyone looking for a robust case should look no further, its a great fit, and the stand works well, although I am unlikely to use it.

I have used an i-blason armor case for 2 years on my iPhone 7 Plus and was very pleased with it. So I was very disappointed when I ordered the iPhone Xs max equivalent and fitted it to my phone. The case appeared to fit well initially but the day after the built in screen protector seems to have warped and there now appears to be a crease in it which lifts it away from the screen towards the bottom. This has the effect of an air bubble and makes swiping and typing very frustrating - I had to remove the case to get the keyboard to work. There is no way to contact the seller to rectify. Amazon offer a returns policy however this means I will have to wait for 5-7 days for a refund and return the product which leaves my phone without a case and protection whilst I source a different product. Due to the nature of my work I need a robust phone case and this effectively means I can’t use my phone until a new case arrives. Very disappointed with the quality of this item.

I have been using this phone case since I bought it and I love it, it does what you need it to do but I found two downfalls with it, the first one being that the IPhone SXMax is a nice looking phone so you never get to see it’s shape lol, but second one is that when you keep taking it out of the case, the plastic that protects the screen becomes a bit bent. But that is only a very very small issue. Also dust cover for charger port 👌, love it. Don’t have any improvements because it’s perfect for the price.

Good tough case but the screen protector is pretty rubbish. Is scratches to easily, the first day it was marked by my wallet rubbing against it which is made from fabric. I’m probably going to cut the screen protector out and try a glass one. Pity cause it lets the rest of the case down.

The top piece is very hard to remove once snapped into place; you essentially need a screwdriver to pry the two halves of the case apart. That won't matter if you always leave the phone in the case, but if you just want to use the case occasionally for extra protection, it'll quickly grow infuriating (and risk scratching the phone). If it were easy to swap the phone in and out of the case regularly, it would merit all the stars.

Good strong case affording great protection . If only it was easy to get the phone into the case. Very difficult to prise the case open and insert phone and I managed to scratch my phone in the process. Not sure my other half could have managed to use it. Certainly you cant use it on a causal basis taking the phone out whenever. Best to leave it in permanently

Excellent hard case, I’ve used gridding survivors for the last 7/8 years but fancied a change. This is a few mm thinner than the griffin cases but with the plastic backing it’s easier to get in/out of jacket pockets. The inbuilt stand is very handy, not the most sturdy on eneven surfaces but still nice to have. The case was a little difficult to split at first but came apart after a 10 min struggle!Recommended.

Excellent product that is sturdy and provides great protection for my valuable iPhone.Whilst it’s bulky and does exactly what is designed to do. The foldable bracket on the rear is great when viewing video on the phone as it holds it steady when put into a flat surface.
