My mom gave me something like this a long time ago and I've been using these sort of washcloths for many years now. This particular brand seems to be well made and very easy to use. I like the exfoliating properties of the material. It is lightweight, folds easily and lathers up very well. I notice that there are several vendors for this same brand, so make sure to check the prices.

I love this thing! I use this to scrub my body with a bar of soap, and it cleans my skin and leaves it nice and soft from the exfoliation while still being gentle enough to use daily. It's super easy to fold this to scrub your body and then use the full length to scrub your back and neck. I remember the first time I used this because my skin was so soft the next day!I have used italy towels before and imo they are way too rough. My hands sometimes felt raw after using them, and they were always red. While the salux cloths are not 'soft' (they have a roughness to them to exfoliate your body), they are much gentler on my hands and body, and I no longer use italy towels or loofahs now that I use salux cloths.You can throw this into the laundry machine to clean it nicely, but let these air dry instead of throwing them in the dryer. I replace this whenever I notice the texture of the cloth has changed and it is no longer cleaning my skin that well, which is maybe once a year.

Super great for getting the back. And has good grit for exfoliating.

Use with liquid or bar soap. Lathers up well with either. It’s like exfoliating with every shower. It lives through many cycles of the washing machine. It’s long enough that scrubbing your back is easy work.

This all has to do with if you want to really scrub yourself. If you push hard with this it will feel like you are scrubbing with 80 grit sandpaper. To light and you might as well stick with the washcloth. It is long, good for getting to the back, but not great when you are trying to do legs and arms. Just fold it double or triple. I like to put a sliver or sometimes the whole bar, in between the layers while I scrub so I get lots of bubbles. But all you really have to do is make the material all wet first then rub lots of soap on the middle.Give it a few tries, you will get the hang of it. I wouldn't use it on my face though. No mater how lightly you push it's still too rough.

Seems to work ok

I use these instead of a loofah. I tend to have dry skin and KP that both need really thorough exfoliation. These work great, they lather very well, and are easy to clean. Each towel lasts a long time, I replace it when they get threadbare. I don't scrub very hard with these, I use them to get a basic clean with my body wash, and then once or twice a week toward the end of my shower I use a green italy towel for a more thorough exfoliation. The combination of the two works amazingly well for me, and my skin is silky soft and needs less lotion than it used to before I began this regimen.

I've been using these for the past 3 years and they are showing no signs of damage. I swap them out while the other gets washed and the exfoliation is super satisfying. Will never go back to a loofa.I wanted to update my review and say it's lasted 4 years now. I alternate washing these and are pretty compact for travel as well.
