I purchased this with the idea that it would be a good-looking purse / backpack for the office. There are plenty of zipper pockets so I could compartmentalize everything neatly. However, I found this to be on the smaller than I anticipated. I love the color, the design, the looks, but wish it where about 4 inches taller. The pictures show the pack next to a 8.5" x 11" piece of paper. The interior is well constructed and would provide cushioning for a tablet. I do plan on returning this and purchasing a larger bag.

At first I thought it was smaller than expected. But, it's about perfect! Those tiny but beautiful Asian models give you a slightly skewed perspective on the size.I Love the MANY reachable pockets & compartments on the outside of this bag (and even on the back for a passport). I bought it for a cruise to Cuba and Haiti (and Key West) to use as a combination purse and "extras" bag or even to be able to shove some smaller purchases in it. I love the cross-body bags -- very secure for traveling. Option to carry it with the handle or as a backpack is pretty nifty. It can be stuffed fairly wide (about 6 inches I think), so useful as a carry-on also. I like the tapered design to it; much more stylish than a square or rectangular shape.The pockets on each side for water bottles or whatever are a nice touch. My re-usable plastic bottle just barely fits -- seems like they're sized for the store-bought water (which I HATE because we use so much of that one-use stuff!).A couple of little thing that I don't like -- the top zipper zips all the way into the crease of the bag where the clips are for the strap. If you have something in the side pocket, it might block you from reaching the zipper pull. Just something to be careful of. It does have nice pulls on all the zippers. I nice touch for this price point! Second question mark -- The bag arrived with a couple of the zippers pulled apart. It DOES have the zippers that you can fix by zipping it back to correct the pull, but I just wonder how long the zippers will hold up. I won't use this bag for daily use, just for travel, so hope it lasts forever. If it doesn't last through this cruise, I'll post.This bag is versatile and PERFECT.
