Vinara Champagne Bottle Stopper Saver, (Clear)

Champagne is my favorite adult beverage, so I've used many stoppers. I decided to give this one a try because it was priced very reasonably and had the very good reviews. I am happy to report that this stopper works very well. I use it with care as it is plastic and I don't want it to snap and break. It seems pretty sturdy so far. This bottle stopper can keep Champagne bubbly 3 days with no problem. I've left a bottle 1 week once. It was still OK drinkable after 1 week. I would recommend this product for anyone who can't finish a bottle quickly. I bought another one to take with me on my trips.

This was affordable and does well on most (but not all) champagne bottles. If the inner diameter of the bottle is at all larger than average, it will not work. It works well enough for us with the champagne we've been having the most of lately, just not on the 'cheap' ($7) bottle we got at Trader Joe's. It is easy to use. Super easy. But I think if I have to buy another, I might try another kind.

the material is very fragile.

I bought 4 and am happy with 1. The first one had a "click" to show it had fully sealed. The others did not--they just had a loose closure. After two months it became clear that the "click" is necessary. I tried to exchange them, after two months, but was told that privilege had "expired." Hence, this review. Buyer beware.

Works as expected.

My old stainless and rubber stoppers that I've been faithful to for several decades are being replaced with this Vinara. I was looking for something with a silicone stopper that might hold up a bit better (After several years of the "old" style, the rubber would get yucky and although it seemed to work ok, just didn't look real clean.) When this first arrived, I thought it looked a bit flimsy and might not hold up to the bubble-retention I was used to with the old style stoppers. But this works great - super! Will get a few more for my "bubbly" friends, and a spare for me.

I THOUGHT I HAD THE BEST CHAMPAGNE STOPPER WHEN, MY WIFE BROUGHT ME ONE FROM GERMANY,AND YOU CAN GUESS WHAT IT COST. THE VINARA BY FAR CAN HOLD THE BUBBLES LONGER, AND I MEAN,AT LEAST ONE WEEK. NOW I HAVE THREE OF THEM, TWO FOR ME AND ONE FOR A FRIEND. THE PRICE WASLOWER THAN ALL THE REST OF THE STOPPERS I LOOK AT BY FAR.ROBERT
