Flower & Garden Plus Mycorrhizal Soil Additive

This is a must for pots and hanging baskets. Cuts don on how often you need to water.

I can't comment too much on the fertilizer part of this (it's too soon to tell), but the hydro-gel crystals seem to have done the job to keep my houseplants happy when I was away for a few weeks so that my husband didn't have to worry about watering them too little or too much. I came back to healthy plants and reasonable soil conditions with very little attention needed, which was what I was looking for.I'm going to try using some outside this year as well.

I've been using Soil Moist for years. One of its best uses is when planting trees. Our soil drains very well, which is great, but can sometimes starve young plantings of water as it drains. For about 1 years, I've been mixing in Soil Moist at the bottom of the planting hole (adjusting amounts based on size). The help hold water close to young roots during that critical first year or two. Really helps. Very pleased with this most recent purchase, too.

A little less volume of soil moist pieces than I'd like.

Absolutely love the old soil moist and the time release fertilizer is a great add but there is not a whole lot of actual soil moist in the product. This might be a better soil amendment for the long haul in your garden for perennials, I have seen some better results there -not phenomenal but not nearly as effective as the original stuff, especially for containers. It works ok when mixed well into the soil but a complete fail for pre-potted store bought plants as a top dressing. Not a bad product, just one of those things where you should not fix what is not broken and the original is supreme

This product produced large healthy and colorful flowers. I felt comfortable knowing my plants would survive the heat even if I missed an occasional watering.

I’ve used this product for almost 20 years in my window boxes and hanging planters. They get plants get the hot afternoon sun and this product keeps them from getting fried. It’s been my secret ingredient in my planters. I always get compliments every year! Definitely a staple in my garden shed!
