I was hesitant to purchase any seeing there was no good feedback, but when it arrived today
I upgraded my phone to the droid turbo and needed a new case to run with. I was hesitant to purchase any seeing there was no good feedback, but when it arrived today, I was SO EXCITED that it was the SAME armband I had for my razr maxx, only bigger. This band is wonderful. I've ran hundreds of miles with it on, in pouring rain, pouring water on me and it stays dry. The biggest thing I want to clarify is that you absolutely CAN utilize the phone features with the case on and I have a thicker screen protector too. I've texted, called, etc while running with it on. Yes, the Velcro is long, but my mom can hack it off and resew it do its not so long, just like my last one. Thank you for making this excellent product larger. I am more than pleased to have it with me when I'm running my races

Armband carrier for Droid Turbo with Case
Just wanted to confirm for everyone that I am able to get my Droid Turbo into the armband with the case on. Also, consistent with the other reviews, I was not able to use the screen through the plastic cover. But I use this for my bike rides and the main objective is to have access to my music and have a phone with me for emergencies and it is perfect for that.

Works with Droid Turbo 2 phones but may not fit if they're in a case (e.g. Otterbox)
Purchased two of these. One for my wife (who uses the gym & various equipment in the gym) and one for myself (mainly for running and yard work). We both have Droid Turbo 2s in otterboxes (my wife - Otterbox DEFENDER; me - Otterbox Commuter [i wanted a defender but they were out]). I read several reviews that the armband could accommodate our phones w/ the otterboxes. However, when we tried it it - my wife's phone (Droid Turbo 2 w/ DEFENDER otterbox WOULD NOT FIT) and we returned hers. My phone - Droid Turbo 2 w/ Commuter Otterbox fits well - though it's a bit snug. I have been using it for running for about 2 weeks now (around 5 times a week). However, i noticed some of the stitching (at the top of the armband where my ear buds connect) is coming loose due to my constant removal of my phone. I will eventually have to purchase a new armband if this doesn't hold up -- guess i should've held on to my wife's. Even if the stitching goes i think i will still be able to get some use out of the armband before it breaks down completely. I would guess the armband was designed to be used with JUST THE PHONE not a phone in a case.

Serves it's purpose
I wanted a case for my Droid Turbo (the original, not a 2) that fit loosely enough that I could slide my phone in and out with relative ease even though it has a protective case. Granted, a thin beat up one but a case. Since I'm using this when I'm doing outdoor farm chores I needed something that accommodated my headphones while I listen to music and continually move around, & this case does. I can either leave the little flap at the top pushed back or run the headphones through the slit in the same piece of material. I've opted to go with the former because my phone is still a bit small, & I'm not always able to use the touchscreen through the case. Hence, answering a call or text isn't the easiest, but though inconvenient, that's not a huge deal for me.Strap wise, it doesn't fit my arm exactly, but it fits well enough that it doesn't cut off my circulation or slip right off. It seems to fit better the closer I move the phone to the outside of my arm (rather than the front). It's less in the way when I'm doing things such as lifting buckets as well.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Solved my HDCP woes
My TV only accepts component video or DVI for external high definition sources. I have a media streamer that can output via component video or HDMI (a Sony SMP-N100). The problem I was having is when using the component output, some streaming sources, such as Amazon Instant Video, will not play HD content unless HDMI is selected for the output. This is because the HDMI cables support HDCP (copy protection) and component doesn't. This E-more converter solved my problem by allowing me to use the HDMI out on my media streamer while still feeding component video into my TV in full HD.Most of the other HDMI-to-component converters available on Amazon simply output the same resolution as the input. This E-More converter has an additional feature that allows you manually set the output resolution independent of the input resolution. This is handy when your TV can only accept a maximum resolution of 1080i, but the source video is 1080p.

Great adapter if your HDMI ports are fried
This HDMI to 1080P video adapter along with a HDMI switcher that was a separate purchase, has saved me hundreds of dollars. The lightening fried all three HDMI ports on my flatscreen TV. It's evidently not difficult to do because I understand HDMI ports are fairly sensitive to electricity surges. My son suggested a switch and video adapter, because my TV had 1080P component YPbPr jacks, and the adapter with the switch box would keep the HD picture from my devices and transfer it to HD on my TV through my component jacks. I am so pleased! Rather than having to buy a new TV, I just hooked up everything to the switch and adapter and will be able to use this TV until I decide I want a larger one. If you know basic electronics connections you will have no problem hooking everything up. Simply use a HDMI cable to go from the HDMI switcher to this adapter, then plug the adapter into your TV using YPbPr cables. Works flawlessly! If you don't have a TV with HDMI ports, you can use this to keep your HDMI signal using your component jacks. Great adapter!
