Q: Does this work on humans? My back is super hairy.

I think the bristles on this brush are more structured toward animal fur, and may cause irritation to human skin because of the difference in texture of human hair to fur. I would suggest waxing or laser hair removal.

Q: i have a 3 months old yorkie. could this be the perfect brush for a small puppy?

Hi Washington,The brush may be a bit large for a 3 month old yorkie. Q: Does it have a prickly needle type brush head? I already have that type and it looks like it would hurt my pet.

Yes it does, however the bristles are angled in the middle so that they have plenty of give to make sure they do not hurt your pet. We tested rounded bristles as well as these bristles and found that every pet we tried these on did not mind either way. The reason we did not add rounded ends to the bristles is because it would not work properly with the self cleaning feature as the hair would get stuck on the ends and not easily wipe off.

Q: would this work for a short haired dog like a boxer?

We actually don't recommend this for a short haired dog like a Boxer. We would recommend a bristle brush to knock off loose hair and dirt since a Boxer does not really have an undercoat.
