Perfect!
I’ve been using it for 2 weeks now in a home studio environment in a setting to record sound meditation sessions. (Gongs, singing bowls, chimes etc.)I find the effect function very useful to create lovely reverb effects during recording. The only issue with it is that if you wanna use it as a USB mixer to send the signal to your computer you might have issues. The output signal on the USB port isn’t loud enough. I have read many forums about that and it’s a common problem with these mixers. I had to add an additional audio interface to it to get a strong enough signal on the computer.Apart from that it’s a great piece of kit!

Yamaha MG10XU 10-channel mixing console with effects and USB
This is a very decent Item. I had the Beringher before. If I had known what this Yamaha Sound mixer sounded and did, I would have gone for it without any doubt at all. I would recommend this mixer to anyone who is thinking of buying it.The price I paid at the time of purchase was GBP 269.00

these Yamaha mixers are fantastic quality and design
I also own the MG12XU - and being a semi-pro musician and producer, these Yamaha mixers are fantastic quality and design. This one is perfect for jam sessions, working out ideas with a vocalist, guitarist and keyboards. I can output to monitors and also record to a laptop. the mic Pre Amps (De Pre) are really good, low noise and great for recording, jamming or small gigs. I could use this for Podcasting, or recording voiceovers for video or training materials. Well done Yamaha, this is an award winning mixer that is really well designed and manufactured!

Great Compact Mixer
Great mixer with in-line compressor and basic EQ.Standard IEC/“kettle” lead power so no bulky PSU to have to be concerned with.Unfortunately the jack inputs are not balanced TRS.

This is a stunning piece of kit!
Having been a fan of Yamaha hi-fi separates and musical instruments for many years I had high hopes for this product. IAM not disappointed it is superb. Currently being used to mix Vocal and acoustic guitar with backing tracks and the sound is amazing. The inputs are noiseless the whole layout is very intuitive. My only criticism is the manual is a bit light on information however there are literally dozens of videos on YOUTUBE which really help. Including one guy who has rented Yamaha MG10 mixers out for professional services over 5,000 times and never had an issue with one. I wholeheartedly recommend this excellent product.

Yamaha profuce high quality musicsl products
Unfortunately I was'nt not aware that this model did not come with effects.(ie reverb or echo) Giuly in so did not meet my needs. The mixer was of high quality and if it had come with the effects I needed I would have kept it.
