Small and simple, does the job, built quality is good.. little expensive based on material but no complains on function or design...

Seems like an incidental device. But imagine there is an existing HDMI cable with a male connector from the back of a wall mounted monitor, but that cable is too short to allow you to connect to your computer on a nearby table. You have another HDMI cable, the usual one with male connectors at both ends; it doesn't mate with the one coming from wall monitor. And it is too difficult to swap the cable connected to the wall monitor for a cable of longer length. If only I had thought of getting these little devices.No more regrets....I bought a set of these couplers for myself and to share with others.

You get two for the price of one and they both work great. What do you need to do is plug one HDMI cord into win in a different HDMI cord into the opposite it to extend the cords. So if you don’t have one great long cord you can use two. I did not notice any picture nor sound quality degradation it, and it’s compatible with a multitude of devices.

Since none of the Blu Ray multi output hubs worked for me I decided for a direct approach. I have an hdmi cord plugged into my tv that I leave the coupler on. I then plug whatever device I need into the coupler, whether its my blu ray player or ps5/Switch. I’m not sure what you’ll use it for so what i’ll tell you besides that it works is that I notice no change in picture I’m guessing because its direct. No fuzz, no flickering. Didn’t need two, but hey it’s pretty cheap as it is.

I needed this so I could access a very difficult port on my wall-mounted tv, to plug in a streaming stick. A regular, short HDMI dongle wasn't long enough, so using this I made my own.These make the whole situation much easier; in the future I won't have to dismount the TV again to change devices and I can actually reach the device if I need to reset it (Roku, sometimes they need to be manually reset).Also this is a nice device to just have a spare around in case you want to extend an HDMI cable temporarily. Luckily they give you 2 in the package.
