JUST WHAT I NEEDED.
I am happy to know that these memory modules are still available for my Asrock Fatal1 performance motherboard. Now, my old rig is maxed out with four (4) of these 8 gigs of memory modules. Suit my needs perfectly.

Reliable Competitively-Priced RAM But Follow The Rules
After much price comparison (and soul searching) I decided to upgrade my ASUS desktop computer's RAM: if you are serious about multicore CPUs (multicore CPUs offer potentially greater benefit than overclocking a single CPU core) then you provide ample RAM. I've had good experience with Kingston RAM upgrade earlier purchases, the Kingston website suggested this DIMM matched pair, and Kingston suggested upgrades had the lowest price. I bought this DIMM matched pair kit, I removed my single existing DIMM, and I installed the Kingston DIMM pair. Now I learn that my ASUS motherboard uses dual-channel RAM: it is good that I purchased matched DIMMs.DIMMs are static-sensitive; you must follow the rules. During the installation I wore non-static rubber-soled jogging shoes; I kept my knees pressed against the metal desk's walls; the desktop computer was completely unplugged; I wore a cheap anti-static wrist strap clipped to the desktop computer's chassis; and I installed the DIMMs gently (the DIMMs and the DIMM sockets are precision equipment; applying muscle here only creates problems). Before the installation I downloaded MemTest86 free software, I built a MemTest86 bootable CD-ROM, and I verified that my pre-existing RAM was faultless. After the Kingston DIMM installation I verified that the Kingston DIMMs were faultless. I also verified that Windows 8.1 recognizes my upgraded RAM. I know that my Kingston RAM upgrade was successful and beneficial.

Cheap Low profile RAM
Decided to slip this stick into an old computer with a spare ram slot to double the current memory and reduce CPU load (memory compression from windows). Didn't realize this was a lower profile RAM as it just happened to be the cheapest 240 pin stick that had the same timings as the other stick present in the computer. No issues on arrival. If this stick fails within the next 5 years, I will take 2 stars off this rating. If the rating still has 5 stars, the stick lasted at least 5 years.

Best bargain for an 8GB 1600Mhz CL11 DDR3 dual channel set
How is this so cheap? 3/4 of the market price. I bought 2 even though I didn't intend to initially due to the low price!Picks up correct XMP JDEC in the bios and runs 1600Mhz CL11.Brought my windows experience index from 7.3 to 7.7 for memory over the 2 x 2GB i had in the machine temporarily as my motherboard did not agree with my TEAM CL9 set I had already.Works fantastic on a Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H-A Gigabyte LGA 1150 Intel B85 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Micro ATX DDR3 1600 Motherboards GA-B85M-DS3H-A paired with an i3 4170 Intel Core i3 Processor 3.7 2 BX80646I34170 .I may buy some more for work as I am an IT Director, and this deal for a name brand set like this, cannot be beat.

It just works--easy to install, fast, & compatible with my HP desktop
I used this Kingston "Value RAM" to double my memory from 4GB to 8GB on a mainstream HP Windows desktop that came standard with 4GB of Kingston memory. Install was straightforward, and when I booted up the new memory was recognized immediately. Besides the additional RAM, I also now have a matched pair of memory sticks (2 X 4GB), and so I get increased memory bandwidth from this dual-channel configuration. Wow, my computer response really pops! I redid the "Windows Experience Index" evaluation, and subscore for Memory Operations per Second increased from 5.9 to 7.5. And since I'm using the integrated Intel HD 4400 graphics (which uses system memory), the subscore for Aero Graphics increased from 5.0 to 5.9. I'm a long-time Amazon customer, but was actually pointed to Amazon from the Kingston web site. I found the memory I wanted on the Kingston site, clicked the purchase button, and Amazon was one of the options--thank you Kingston & Amazon.

but it fit just fine lengthwise. I have a HP Compaq Elite 8200 ...
One of the cheapest price I could find for memory. I didn't realize that this was a SHORTER height than most memory (shorter than the my originally installed memory), but it fit just fine lengthwise. I have a HP Compaq Elite 8200 CMT with a quad core i5, 3.3 ghz processor, I bought two of these and they worked just fine. When I first installed, on first boot, it displayed an error about memory, but it mentioned pressing F1 to reboot, and I did so, after that, it rebooted and everything was normal and it worked just fine. Maybe the motherboard was telling me there is a change in memory size on first boot after install? Either way, it works just fine. I may order 2 more in the future to max out my memory to 32 GB.

Stable and reliable
I bought a MB/CPU/RAM kit with Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H motherboard, Core i5 4690 (Haswell) and Patriot RAM which for some reason didn't work properly: after a couple of weeks I started getting mystery crashes in Windows, and intermittent errors in Memtest86+. So I sent the Patriot RAM back and while waiting for replacement, bought this Kingston RAM, KVR16N11S8K2/8 (2x4Gbytes).I'm pleased to say that with the Kingston RAM it has been completely stable. It has the standard timings for RAM of this type, was correctly auto-detected, and performance is perfectly fine. I ran Memtest86+ overnight, and still run it from time to time, and it has been completely error free. Had it 2 months now.[If/when I get the Patriot RAM replaced I might amend the review to tell you if the two types work together...]

Cheap n cheerful and does the job brilliantly
Kingston memory - along with some other brands - means reliability which was the foremost reason for buying this. It was only £6 more expensive than a lesser brand at the time of purchase. Understand the extra paid is not just for the name but for the quality and reliability. It has been in an office machine, which is a makeshift server running all the time, for some time now and I dare say it will still be running for years to come. I've done IT for years (sigh) and from experience in memory failure / incompatibility I wouldn't hesitate in buying Kingston again. I do like other branded memory too but this review is of course for a Kingston.

Kingston Technology Value RAM 4 GB 1600MHz CL11...
My son told me to buy from a named company, and I'd seen Kingston Tech on many PC builds via the net. When it first arrived I thought I'd got the specs wrong, it was tiny. So I had a go of installing the RAM and it fits and works like a dream. It's got a lifetime warranty, which is nice. Amazon kept me up to date with the delivery date, so I knew when it would come, it only took two days. I ran a benchmark test with just 4 GB and it was ok, but with the whole 8 GB in it, it's passed all the test with flying colours. Will buy Kingston Tech again, thats the truth.

Good buy and good value
Arrived in time safely packed in a plastic holder. Worked out of the box, just put it in my mum's new PC with an MSI motherboard MSI LGA1155 u-ATX Motherboard (Intel H61, 2x DDR3, GBE, LAN) and a core i5 2400 cpu, and had not problem with it since. The machine works for a month now without any problems, running Windows 7. Fast and cheap, and if you do not do much else but web browsing, playing Candy Crash and AquaLife3d, emails, Skype, just like my dear mum, you do not need any more sticks, this one does the job perfectly. MSI LGA1155 u-ATX Motherboard (Intel H61, 2x DDR3, GBE, LAN)

Great product, good value, and super-stable.
I bought this new RAM to replace the 8GB of DDR3 I had in my Alienware X51 R2. I was a little worried about upgrading cos it's hard to find information on upgrading that system, but it was well worth it. No problems whatsoever with this RAM, it passes memory tests and performs well, and runs at 1600MHz as it should in my system, even though it's known to be a little finicky with speed at times :)Very happy, and I would buy again if I ever needed to.
