The range was first inspired by a chronograph created by Baume & Mercier watches in 1948 and by harnessing its vintage charm, the brand have reinvented a range that is both practical in daily life and looks completely striking on the wrist.
This Baume et Mercier Capeland chronograph watch is the prize model of the collection and its impressive 42mm satin finished stainless steel case houses a finely crafted automatic mechanical movement which is animated by the movements of the wearer. Housed beneath the domed anti reflective sapphire crystal glass is a crisp white dial with snailed silver counters, a date aperture at 4 o clock and the two graduated scales: one tachymetric and the other telemetric. To complete the Baume and Mercier Capeland watch, a stainless steel bracelet a triple folding adjustable buckle is added for a secure and sophisticated finish.
