RotoZipTC1 Tilecut Bit

Works great if you know how to use it
I needed to modify some existing tile, so I bought one of these. It worked like an absolute charm the first time. I cut a two in cutout in about 30 seconds. The one thing though is it essentially turns tile to dust, so be sure to have eye protection and lay something down to collect the dust and close off the area if you can.I did find though that DO NOT use it as a drill. The tip will wear down very quickly. (If it gets hot, it will wear down. If it slows down, stop using it immediately and allow it to cool.) Use a tile drill bit for that, then use the bit to cut the hole. I discovered that the hard way. If you can, move the tip in and out so the friction doesn't get one part too hot. The bit eventually broke when I tried to use it on some stucco that was WAY too hard for it (that I didn't know until I sadly attempted that). Otherwise it's worked out well.So it's handy if you know how and where to use it.

Good bit, just not really for sanded grout!
These bits do a good job for about 6 seconds. Then the cutting edge burns off and the bit becomes dull. Forcing it causes the bit to glow red and eventually break. I was able to remove the 2 broken tiles using a total of 3 bits.Warning: These bits will toss powered grout all throughout your house. There is no escape. I was working in my Kitchen and found light power in every room of my house. I have baseboard heaters, so there was no air blowing. It just goes everywhere.

Broke the bit as soon as it entered the material ...
Broke the bit as soon as it entered the material. I was cutting a hole in 6" wall tile. I would not buy again, but I might try the floor tile version

Three Stars
If you try cut dry it burns in seconds. Wet works for a little while

Piece of Junk
I checked the rotozip website and double checked that this was compatible with the type of tile I was using (and it was). The bit snapped in half within 15 seconds with very little pressure being put on the rotozip. I borrowed another bit from a friend and that worked perfectly. This bit stinks. Don't buy it.

wouldn't even begin to cut tile, WORTHLESS!!!
All this bit does is heat up and turn red making a slight indent in the tile, but not even coming close to cutting it. DON'T waste your money! If it didn't cost to return it I would, but it's not worth the shipping cost to do so. Complete garbage!!!

RotoZip TC-1 Tilecut Bit
I've been using my Rotozip for 2 or 3 years now, and the carbide bits are the only thing to use for certain jobs.

Roto Zip
I found this a good addition to the tile bits that I have and was brilliant on those awkward little bits of tile that need trimming with care.

Rotozip Bit
Cuts Tiles on wall without any cracking. I don't know of any other tool to do this as well as Rotozip.

Baja calidad. Low quality!!
La broca es de mala calidad, no me ha dado tiempo a usarla. Intenté abrir un agujero en un azulejo bastante endeble y la broca se rompió nada más usarla.low quality. I used the drill and broke. hard 1 minute.
