Why did you pick this product vs others?: Only had for 2 months but strong suction. Contractor installed in toe kick under pull out trash can.

Our contractor installed the Sweep O Vac in the toe kick of our new kitchen island. It is plugged in under the sink along with the garbage disposal. I believe installation was pretty straight forward. It is sleek and out of the way. It is very loud when turned on. Crumbs and dust need to be directly in front of the opening in order to be sucked up. Since ours is installed in the toe kick I needed to buy a push broom, as a regular broom does not allow me to sweep the junk close enough to the opening to get sucked up since it is recessed in the toe kick and the cabinet door gets in the way of the sweeping motion. I like that I can hold the start button for 5 seconds which turns the vac on for 5 minutes because I find that 10 seconds of suction is not enough time for me to position all of the junk in front of the opening to get sucked up. All in all, I like my new toy.

I'm editing my previous review from three to five stars. I was under the assumption that this unit would only work for ten seconds, but if you hold the on/off button for three seconds, it actually stays on for five minutes. Given this new discovery, which I learned from reading the manual (crazy idea), this vacuum is amazing. The attachment hose for this version, which is sold separately, allows me to quickly vacuum up cat litter from several feet away and to quickly clean around my kitchen cabinets.

Easy to install and powerful enough. My only qualm is that I feel like my cabinets are getting damaged when trying to get the dirt close enough. Its made for cabinets that are flush with trim. The suction mouth could be wider, with it so small a lot of grime gets stuck around it

I am pleasantly surprised by this vacuum. I have 3 dogs, 1 is a husky and the other is half husky so there’s always a lot of hair in my house. The sweepovac is pretty amazing. I just remodeled my kitchen and incorporated this vacuum into my remodel and I’m very happy with it. I sweep dog hair up to it and it sucks it all up, it’s more powerful than i expected. My husband thought it was a waste of money and that we would never use it but I’ve caught him using it a few times and he’s pretty impressed with it as well 😆 i guess it wasn’t as stupid as he thought! It’s convenient bc i don’t have to get a vacuum out, unravel it, plug it in, use it, unplug it, wrap up the cord and put the vacuum away! I just kick the button and then walk away from it after it sucks everything up. It’s also decently priced, I would recommend!

Works well- not the most attractive. But not many are for the price pint.

There are many great reviews on here so I will give a few points only. 1. Yes this requires an under the counter outlet which is a pain - we got around it by drilling a hole right into the unfinished basement and plugging it in from there. Easy access and the cord provided is fairly long. 2. Yes it is loud but it works gloriously. Fair trade-off. It's only on for a few seconds at a time. If anyone in this household complains, they are free to do the sweeping themselves (after which I am sure they will use this vacuum for every little crumb as I do. It's just that fun). 3. In my unit the switch appears to be faulty. It was installed in a newly renovated kitchen. Electricians were on hand to confirm it is not related to the wiring or installation. The unit will only turn on intermittently (<50% of the time). This is my first return / replacement via Amazon. So far the process has been seamless - printed off the prepaid postage from Canada Post and will cross fingers for the rest. It's a pain to have to do this but a smooth return and replacement will bump my review up to 5 stars. EDIT: replacement successful. enjoying this product thoroughly. highly recommend!

Es perfecto solo hay q comprar un adaptador para el enchufe porque es ingles,el voltaje es valido para España. Hace bastante ruido pero aspira en un par de segundo porque es potente, para mi muy util para aspirar la cocina y como lleva el tubo q se estira muchos metros puedo limpiar las alacenas rapidamente.

Switch broken within 1 week. Terrible device. Emailed remitools and they told me they would respond within a few days. Emailed them 10 days later and they told me to email amazon. Joke.

Works great. Sounds like a jet engine spooling up, tones of suction.
