My skin really likes sulfur and lanolin :)
I really like this soap I was trying it out a couple weeks ago when I received it but was using the wrong moisturizer at the time that was further irritating my skin. I have stopped using that moisturizer now but yesterday my face got really inflamed about five or six pimples all of the sudden. I am dealing with stress right now. I thought perfect chance to try the soap out again so I used it last night I loved the way that the soap gets really lathery and it has a slight gritty feel to it that let you know that you are really scrubbing away the dirt on your face. This product doesn't smell the greatest but it is very tolerable It smells likea little bit like lemon cleaner with maybe a little bit of fart but the kind of fart you can cope with LOL. After rinsing it off with cool water you can still smell a slight lemony mineral small on your face. I actually kind of like the smell it doesn't bother me at all. Anyway this soaps formula is great I feel like the sulfur gets into your skin and then the lanolin helps seal the skin so that the active ingredient keeps working. First lanolin is so good for healing broken skin so even though this product is extremely drying it does not feel uncomfortable. Anyway I used it last night did not put a moisturizer on because I wanted it to just work on its own throughout the night when I woke up this morning all of the pimples that I had yesterday had shrunk down in size they're very very flat and some of them seem like they're in the very last stages of being. In addition to that my skin was so taut that when I looked in the mirror this morning before my shower. I literally looked about five years younger at least I was very pleasantly surprised too with the way that my face was glowing and even toned. I will be using this around my hormonal times of the month. I don't know if everybody will like it but I have very very sensitive skin that is oily sometimes and super dry other times as I live in a very dry state. My skin usually can't take much fragrance and reacts weirdly to a lot of different things. No problems with this. This sulfur is absolutely doing something good. Also I should mention that when I first received it I used it on my back acne that had been popping up and driving me crazy this winte. After about three or four uses I've seen no new pimples on my back everything has dried out I really really think this might be a solution for body acne which is awesome. When using on your body though it can make your skin feel so dry that it is tight and itchy so make sure to put on a neutral moisturizer afterwards I like to use Eucerin and grapeseed oil.

perioral dermatitis killer!
I have self diagnosed perioral dermatitis (PD) around my nostrils. I did a lot of research and compared a lot of pictures to my skin to self diagnose. I real this eastern medicine article that said western medicine tries to treat PD w/ steroids or antibiotics or other medicated creams that may kinda work short term but are really harsh on the skin and body and don’t last long term, plus ur body builds a tolerance. So it suggested Zinc and Sulfur. Therefore, I bought this soap. I’ve been washing my face with this every day for maybe a month and omg my PD is almost completely gone. The redness and itching has decreased drastically. I woke up today and look in the mirror and was like wow I need to write an Amazon review just in case other ppl with PD don’t know about this. I also have used a zinc/sulfur tinted cream with it, which helps a lot during the burning and itching stages of the PD healing. Both products are a bit drying, but that’s what u need to get rid of PD.if you have PD, DO NOT use moisturizer or oils until ur skin has COMPLETELY healed. I tried the other day to add both back into my routine and it just irritated my face even more.I also use it on my body and my piercings. I think it acts as like an anti-fungal or something. Idk but it stops itching and redness and pimples and PD so well.I’d also recommend this to ppl who suffer with depression and/or don’t shower very often. I think it would be a really good face and body cleaner for those ppl.The smell isn’t too bad at all. It doesn’t smell like other soaps that have fragrance but it has a natural slightly metallic smell but you can’t smell it once u rinse it off.Anyway, buy this. You won’t regret.

Where has this been all my life!
I'm in my early 30s and have been fighting with acne, psoriasis and perioral dermatitis since I was 13. Doctors always gave me steroid creams and antibiotics to fight them. Nothing really worked. Sure antibiotics helped acne, except the steroid creams would make me break out - it was a vicious cycle trying different medications and cleansers and spending tons of money to combat my skin issues. I dont like taking steroid medications to fight this and I hate putting harsh chemicals on my face to fight acne, it cant be good for me. No one can convince me that its "safe". And since the effectiveness of the steroid medications is lessening over time, I decided it's time to try something else. So I googled perioral dermatitis. Read lots of articles about numerous woman having the same issues. A few of them mentioned Sulfur soap, which I have never heard of before. I decided to give it a shot because continuing to use steroids and expensive cleansers was just not an option anymore financially and it's just not working.I'm so glad I decided to give this a shot.Oh my God where the heck has this stuff been all my life! In 4 days, I'm seeing a huge difference in my skin. Its actually clearing up. Maybe this is a fluke, but the perioral dermatitis around my lips and chin is lessening in redness and the those whiteheads that never go away with perioral dermatitis, are starting to!This, I have never achieved with steroids or expensive cleansers. Nothing could really get rid of the inflammation around my lips and chin, or it would just get worse in other ways (giant deep cysts that take 6+ months to go away, peeling skin red and irritated). That's what steroids, retin-a and proactiv do to you.I dont know if I've found the right regimen, finally. But maybe so. Maybe it's a fluke. But this seems to be working better for me than I expected. And it doesn't cost a lot!Side note, I fight with Tina Versicolor on my chest. I cant seem to ever get rid of that completely either. This stuff is making that go away also.Lifesaver! Game changer! Tell your friends!Oh ladies, suggestion.Wash with a mild cleanser first, then use this as directed. After washing off, use an oil free Moisturizer. If drying happens, only use it once a day, before bed is best. And if you use foundation, use a mineral foundation for your daily makeup. Makes a big difference in your complexion. Oh and wash your pillow cases weekly or more!Good luck!
