Stop a Thief!
I purchased this item because someone stole my battery form my travel trailer. The box is well made, solid aluminum and looks very good. The box is not made to fit into the angle iron where the battery sits, it sits on top. It was not to difficult to mount onto the trailer just drill four holes and secure to the metal battery brackets with the screws provided. There are three pre-punched holes for your cables and in my case for my propane fuel line. The one negative is that the item only comes with one rubber grommet for the holes. In my case it needed to open all three holes so I had to make due with what I had. I looked into different ways to secure my batteries and I chose to buy this box and I am very happy with this purchase. The batteries are now very secure and the aluminum box looks great on my trailer. I would recommend this item for anyone looking to do the same...well worth it!

No welds, rivets.
This box is not welded. It is put together with rivets. Pretty disappointing.

Took a little effort to get it onto the frame of the trailer but once you rivit it on, works like a charm!
