Luggage Tracker (device only)

Trakdot really gives me peace of mind while i am traveling. It is especially helpfull when your plans are changed while you are on the go (if you missed your connection flight and completely changed your plans).IMHO, There are 2 things that must be improved:1. you cannot use the mobile application if there is no network connection (3G/4G/WIFI) - that is not helpful when you try to use the bluetooth feature only to find your suitcase at the carousel. you mostly need it when visiting remote countries where you don't have any network connection.2. The range of the bluetooth connection is absurdly short. you need to be few centimeters away from the Trackdot device to get any indication.

UX/UI issues - AA batteries? Who uses that in these times? - Support took forever to respond.Not a good product.

I have used this on several long overseas flights and never had a problem, except for Shanghai, where the officials are hyper about lithium batteries in checked luggage. Although my batteries were not lithiums, I stll had to pull the batteries out of the unit, rendering it useless. The only improvement I can suggest is to make it easier to tell if the unit is on ans off. The various flashing lights make it confusing.

I can't use it yet, but I suppose it will woks as said in the manual
