The product works very well to handle hot food out of the microwave and we can take right to the table which is nice.The only bad thing is, it does seem to have some effect on the cooking temperature or cooking time probably is more accurate.We have pre-programmed timers for popcorn, which does not finish popping like it does when we remove the Safe Grabs.We have to adjust cooking time accordingly with other foods such as frozen dinners, etc. or just remove it while cooking, then you're faced with having to handle a hot tv dinner and put it on the Safe Grabs to carry, which kind of defeats the purpose of having it in the first place.If what you are cooking suddenly isn't done, this is why. If you still want to use them, you can adjust cooking time as necessary, it's not a deal breaker, but still...

A clever idea! I leave the large one in our microwave and use it every day. It comes in very handy to pick up and carry plates or bowls that are hot or slippery. However, be careful with very hot items because the heat will pass through the pad. I would have given it five stars other than that plus the price seems a bit high. In all fairness, the directions suggest you let hot items sit for a few minutes to avoid this situation.

You need a brush to get in the grooves if food has dried. Hard to know where to put to dry?? Hang from a clothesline maybe???? Also if using on bottom of microwave and use it to remove a bowl the water from steam collects in the grooves and spills on your legs, feet, or floor if not very, very careful. I have been burned and almost dropped the bowl.

For it's firs use, I placed the mat under our popcorn bowl. The popcorn bowl gets pretty hot from the popcorn kernels. We pop the popcorn for 1 minute and 50 seconds. When the timer went off, I attempted to retrieve the bowl like shown in the commercials. The mat was hotter than the popcorn bowl! Total disappointment as I had high hopes for this mat. I plan to return the item.

I ordered these and then went back for more. I tried to buy the larger four pack set, but they were out. Wish I had the others, as I find I use them for all sorts of things even outside the kitchen, like under flower pots. I have the largest size in my microwave which is extremely handy for boilovers. Also doubles as a potholder that I can lift the dish out of the microwave with, extremely handy. I put them in my butcher block work surface to set things on that have moisture. Like frozen foods of drinks, so I don't get standing water rings. I oust them between my cast iron skillets, especially the porcelain lines ones, to prevent scratching. I put them under my mini-rice cooker, my dividual coffee maker, and even my crockpot, because those items can get warm on the bottom. However if you set super hot pots from the oven on them and then move them, the counter is still warm, so they aren't 100% on those. All and all very handy to have.

We like Safe Grabs overall. We can put a Safe Grab in the microwave under a microwavable container of food and microwave the food. When the food is done, we just grab the Safe Grab with the container of food on it and carry it safely to the table.However, DO NOT PUT SAFE GRABS UNDER BAGS of MICROWAVE POPCORN and then MICROWAVE THE POPCORN! We tried microwaving the popcorn with a Safe Grab twice. Both times the popcorn burnt and the first time a non washable black spot was left on the Safe Grab.

Saw these were from shark tank and we really gotta support the entrepreneurs of America that make the country so great. How these were not designed before blows my mind. Originally, I was just looking for a cover/lid for the bowls I pop in the microwave so exploding food and splattering sauce can be kept in the container and less cleaning for me (!!). But, the use I was not expecting to get out of these is as hot pads. I use these every. single. day, I'm not kidding. I keep both in my microwave and the little one is perfect for getting bowls full of leftover noodles or the smaller plates out of the microwave and into my lap on the couch (they're flexible and comfy to hold so they're not cumbersome to hold through your entire meal) and the bigger one is great for dinner plates. I rarely use these as covers anymore and more-so use them to get hot contents out of the microwave. Highly recommend! The creamy/grey color is really pretty and classy for your kitchen.

I received damaged good. I had to take time to return this item when it should have never left the warehouse in the first place.

Haven't used them yet, but they look great, arrived within 2 days and are exactly as described.

This is a good idea to help move those hot food containers!

My husband only has one arm and his old one must’ve moved on. He love these two. Very pleased with this product!
