Cracked
This tank was a nice size but because of the way it was packaged it had a crack in it and I had to return it with a deduction in what I paid for it because it was a heavy item.

Really good all-in-one acrylic nano tank, some things to improve.
The media could not be loaded. Dimensions:28.5" L x 14.2" W x 16" HFirst impression:All-in-one (AIO) nano aquarium was double-boxed with minimal styrofoam pieces in-between (would've been more secure if filled entirely with foam packing material) and plastic wrapped, accessories were complete, included light fixture (daylight only) and AC pump. All-in-one tank looks durable, support brace in the top middle is helpful to prevent bowing, and built-in sump has three compartments and appears spacious enough.Review:I’m mostly happy with the tank, but rated it 4-stars because I had to pay extra to replace light and pump (see pictures and video). Here’s my Pros & Cons.PROS:* Acrylic is more durable than glass (about 10-20 times stronger).* Open top design (can be a pro and con) with middle support brace.* Built-in sump is convenient, no external plumbing parts.* Includes LED light, AC pump, bioballs, and sponge filter (re-usable).* Ready to use out of the box for freshwater and saltwater.CONS:* Included light only has daytime setting (no actinic for night time), replaced with day/night LED fixture (Hygger Blue White Clip On, see pictures).* AC pump is loud, humming sound can be heard in the next room, replaced with quiet DC pump (Aqua Medic DC Runner 1.2, see video).* Open top design (can be a pro and con), water evaporates more quickly, fish can jump out, snails can escape easily, too.* No dedicated cabinet made for this tank, not a common size/dimension for most stands, shorter than standard 29G (about 30”-31" in length), so common stand for this tank will be a little wider. Plus, tank is deeper than standard 29G (about 12”-13” in width), this may overhang a little on back of narrow stands. If not building your own custom stand, consider R&J cabinet made for their glass version (tank/stand combo). If sold separately, stand dimensions 33” L x 16” W x 31” H.* Entire tank is about 1/3” in thickness EXCEPT back wall of sump is thinner for some reason, not a good idea if using a HOB skimmer, should've been same thickness as rest of the aquarium.Even with these negatives, I’d still recommend this AIO acrylic nano tank for those that want to hide the heater, filtration, etc. in a dedicated built-in sump. Left compartment holds my heater, middle compartment is for filter sponge/pad and bioballs for biological filtration, right side is for return pump. I briefly added my old hang-on skimmer (AquaMaxx HOB 1.0) from previous setup in left compartment of built-in sump, but the skimmer size and water weight made it bow slightly because back wall is thinner than rest of the tank. I didn’t feel safe, so removed the skimmer and sold it, will stick to weekly saltwater changes only. Left compartment may be a good place for a refugium with clip on light instead.NOTE:To make sure water doesn’t overflow tank when turning off pump for cleaning/maintenance, during Feed Mode (DC pump), or during a power outage, keep return pump area (right side) about half-way filled. Even if right side was filled up close to the top, shouldn’t overflow, but gets really close. I wouldn’t risk it.Thanks for reading my review.EDIT (9/13/2019):Be aware that acrylic tanks are known to scratch easily and are more expensive compared to glass. I removed these from "Cons" because it's true for all acrylic aquariums, decided it's not fair to blame the manufacturer. It's more like FYI.UPDATE (10/10/2019):Sad news, lost one baby Clownfish end of September, jumped out and found on the carpet. Ugh, I'm kicking myself that I didn't cover the tank sooner! So, I bought a two-piece glass cover meant for a standard 30 gallon aquarium. It only covers main display (sump in back is uncovered), but that's okay with me as long as fish can't jump out anymore.

An excellent aquarium if some modifications are made
I've waited a few months before reviewing this aquarium, and I'm glad I did. It is a beautiful aquarium and it's built very well. I've noticed no bowing of the acrylic, and I've found it relatively easy to keep this aquarium clean. The compartments behind the aquarium (where the pump and filtration media are located) are a bit more difficult to clean, but manageable. The filtration system works quite well, and one of the compartments behind the tank is just perfect for housing a good sized heating unit. The tank is listed as a 29gal tank, but the actual volume for fish is only about 23 gallons. The remaining six gallons is the area behind the tank for the pump and filter media. That lost volume is more than compensated for by the absence of the heater and an external pump hanging over the back of the aquarium. The lighting unit is adequate, but here comes the main issue I have with this aquarium. There is no cover for the top of the aquarium. I've lost four fish because they managed to jump out of the aquarium. The fix for this is simple enough, but a bit pricey. Went to Lowe's and had them cut a sheet of acrylic that fit across the top of the aquarium, but this left me with nowhere to clamp the lighting unit. Had to buy a unit that runs across the top of the aquarium. I have to slide the top back and forth to feed the fish, but the top prevents rapid evaporation. Before I put a top on the aquarium I was having to add water every other day. With a top in place I don't need to add water between tank cleanings (every 7 to 9 days). If you're willing to spend an additional 50-75 dollars, the end result is an excellent mid-sized aquarium.

Value beyond measure
This is a gorgeous aquarium. Acrylic construction is very high quality and back area for filtration is spacious for all of your needs. The aquarium is ready to go out of the box with everything you need to set up a fish only aquarium. I added a couple of items to mine because I am running a heavy load in a mixed reef tank. There was room for my hang-on refurgium, heater, media basket, and media basket with room to spare. I upgraded the lighting for the reef but the supplied lighting is perfect for fish only or even a light planted load in freshwater. You will not find another AIO saltwater/nano/reef aquarium at this price let alone at the high quality of this unit.
